:)

Indeed, I was counting on it.

I was hoping people would actually notice that I was hardly being a bad guy in any way and have to be bumped off at night.

(And if I did somehow survive to day 2, it was going to be 8 word sentences, incidentally)

I was going to investigate Owen, but he's always killed on the first night, so I didn't bother.

It's a bit quiet out here. Is it within the spirit of the game to gatecrash the real thread? :p

Ha.

It's within the spirit of the game to point out just how craply 2354576569654367 is acting.

Aye. Me too.

From my own point of view, I struggle to see how standing out like a sore thumb and immediately casting votes counts as needing a vote.
Night would've been interesting - Do they kill me due to propensity for reading games fairly well, and because of slightly hinting a good guy role, or leave me because I appeared fairly effectively gagged. (and the answer to that particular point would've given a few pointers as to who we were dealing withy)

As it stands, day 2, I'd be using 8 word sentences, day 3, 16 word sentences, day 4, 32 word sentences, day 5, 64 word sentences, and day 6, not wanting to post due to the required verbosity.

Sadly, it appears bolding isn't too obvious and I had to rush posts at the end of the day. Misinterpretation ahoy.

"Crashers don't want a lynch"
"Except in which circumstances"

When they're threatened.

I wonder if anyone will notice I bolded the "Crashers don't want a lynch" part when I reposted.

Aside from that, I'd expect Crashers to divide votes rather than no-vote. Except by having posted that, they may move into avoiding fitting that particular mold, particulary if one of their own is targetted, if numbers allow.

No bold predictions, no.

I'd certainly care to work some more on Kalmar and Mr Flid though. Also Grim...

Hmm, Zaphod is playing a different game. (Possibly due to being stung last time, possibly for bad guy related reasons)

The exs win conditions...

There Goes The Bride... - The Vengeful Ex eliminates the Bride from her own wedding.
I Will Survive – You stick around long enough to finish the whole meal.

Zaphod: The Ex knows who the groom is , so they will latch onto a vote for him but thats about the only thing we'll get

No, the ex doesn't want the groom out. The ex will watch the groom for who he's cooperating with, and so really doesn't want the groom out.

Zaphod: for the rest i think sitting in the background is a good tactic for them

But it's now known. If he forces that line, and maintains the opposite approach... It'd look like he's been studying the Mr Dave guidebook to being a bad guy.

I meant to actually have it so that the Ex wasn't allowed to vote for the Groom under any circumstances, as he/she still loves the Groom... but I forgotted.

The Flid: "the only person Dave could have used his vote against to push someone else was me, and that's where his vote already was."

Err, I never even mentioned you. Why are you mistaking yourself for Kalmar?

I really shouldn't have made this game as easy for the Crashers to win...

That said, it was the random role assignments that really did me in...

I only really tend to look at the rules when coming to a game plan, and trying to figure out how each role will play.

The obvious money is on the crashers.

I'm also completely failing to see where Mr Russ's 'information' may have come from.

(Also: Wedding planner wouldn't discover the ex either)

I decided, for a laugh, that if anyone bothered to try and pick up the dropped table plan, they would find out what Joans found out last night (subsequent people would not find it).

Russ was first.

Ah, I was going to ask about that. I wondered why you hadn't just told everyone, or why they couldn't all get the information.

Just out of interest, is the vengeful ex on the guest list?

Impressively poor play by people today. They don't seem to deal well with pressure (apart from the crashers, obv).

I think Morte was just being Morte (and typically quiet) , of the ones left i think Craster is 'something' , and i'm not too sure of Grim... but no idea for the rest , i wanna go try to wake up Uncle Neville to ask him who people are :-)

I'm surprised that nobody has tried. After all, I told the first person to try to pick up the table plan what was on it...

I only voted for you out of revenge :-)

And i didnt rally people to go for you

Tell you what , next time you tell me if your bad and i'll vote for you then :-)

The 'short' days really push things , and in some ways it works and it others it doesnt i wonder if a '9 to 5' day would work out better for some - i always lost the last part of the day since i'm travelling home.

Well, with Mr Russ, (from an in-game point of view) If he was a bad guy, his claim would be both audacious (making up rules, without knowing what Curio would do) and stuoid (There was no need)

So You'd tend to trust him. Now, typically, you'd want to look for people who have tried to keep hands off during the little Mr Russ spat...

I agree , not sure how Curio wants to play this out but theres no reason that the bit of paper should still be in Mr Russ's pocket and no reason it should be readable even if someone did find it

BTW i see the ghostlyscum 'dead' thread is still in here with us , are there any mod's not playing who could move it out yet ?

Re: Russ.

I decided that if a power role got offed early on, then the last piece of info (which is actually largely insignificant) they had would be left lying around, and given to the first person to ask about it.

Russ did, so the info is his. There is nothing at all to stop him sharing this info with the group.

Yeah and thats fine , the problem is :

1) I dont think you want to annouce this is 'real' , it leaves things more up in the air
2) No-one else can see (or should be able to see) the paper , so everyone else saying "let me see the list" doesnt really help

I'm interested in what they will do with this information , It doesnt follow that Mr Russ is 'good' although i cant see any reason for a baddie to put themselves more into the limelight , if i was on the inside i'd be asking Mr Russ to annouce who it was and then see if they between them could come up with a valid target ?

Mr Flid: "I'll just add that in addition to Zaphod FOSing Craster a little bit yesterday (which I just notice you have all been discussing), he also had a signature proclaiming that Craster should be lynched. He would have been an excellent target to get rid of if Craster were one of the bad guy roles. It could be a super frame job of course, but 0cc4m's R4z0r people!!!"

Mmm... If he's being framed, I have a good guess as to who is doing the framing.

Look at Gill, She's made of awesome (Regardless of alignment).

You only tend to get one bad guy working an idea, if they can use a townie to help do this, so much the better.

SDG: "If he is bad, they aren't"

This is the logic that allowed us to win last time, and even more suspect this time due to victory conditions.

Hmm, right now, I'd be gunning for the flid. Why?

He's managed to entirely misinterpret things to his own gain. (Mistaking my vote for Kalmar as one for him)
Seems keen to keep everyone as a valid target (Mr Russ)
How long has he had "axis if evil" as his below avatar line? I don't recall seeing it until this game and he strikes me as his style to put that in for gloating measure.
If he's as good as he claims, how is he still alive?
He's pushing a Craster lynch. I wonder why Craster might've survived...

The other thing to note is it's quite unlikely a bad guy would've asked for the paper, as they'd not need it - it tells them something they already know.

Although no posts for an hour makes it look as if his last one about PM flying is 'true'

I noticed the Axis if evil earlier today , i think its 'new' but not sure how new.

One of the big problems is if Mr Russ reveals the name people are going to take it as 'goodie' when perhaps its not.

Mr Russ probably now has 'good' tattoo'd to his forehead and should be a pretty obvious kill for the bad side in some way - if he doesnt reveal his found name today he may not get the chance to.

Remember there are '2' (or 3 if you count the reckless guest) 'bad' camps here.

If you were the Ex you would want to know it because it gives you less of a chance of hitting a crasher

Would either risk a reveal that they'd found out something though? Marks them for death within too long.
