This is one of the most beautiful performances ever, and it's crushing that I still can't find a copy of the song that I can download and keep and hug and keep safe and pop on mix tapes and destroy parties with. Can any BETEO member out there of excellent skill and virtue find me a copy? Am willing to buy an album with it on, if they can find the version done here - the one used for the BBC4 Nico documentary a long time ago.

Here's the YouTube vid...

Friar hermit stumbles over
The cloudy borderline
Frozen warnings close to mine
Close to the frozen borderline
Frozen warnings close to mine
Close to the frozen borderline

Into numberless reflections
Rises a smile from your eyes into mine
Frozen warnings close to mine
Close to the frozen borderline
Frozen warnings close to mine
Close to the frozen borderline

Over railroad station tracks
Faintly flickers a modest cry
From without a thousand cycles
A thousand cycles to come
A thousand times to win
A thousand ways to run the world
In a similar reply

Friar hermit stumbles over
The cloudy borderline
Frozen warnings close to mine
Close to the frozen borderline
Frozen warnings close to mine
Close to the frozen borderline

Close to the frozen borderline
Close to the frozen borderline
Close to the frozen borderline

Ticket to the Moon by ELO is also another great song to clear the dancefloor with.
