Fucking hell.

This, combined with watching the excellent Panorama programme on C.S.O. constant spills onto so called "blue flag" beaches makes me fucking furious.

Jesus fucking christ. Linked from that, http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/london/8293784.stm

Summary: The public will be paid cash prizes to catch shoplifters by watching CCTV footage from home. And it's starting in Stratford upon Avon, where I fucking live. In a month. Nobody fucking asked me if I'd be okay with random tossers off the street spying on me. Jesus fucking christ.

There is an upside though, Richard Madeley will be presenting the accompanying TV series.

I reckon you could put an appreciable dent into the upper classes by tipping cyanide into the Cam just before fresher's week.

When I was younger my mate and I used to mountain bike through what turned out to be an old arsenic mine and through the tin slag containing large amounts of cyanide. I think I've probably got a fairly healthy resistance to it now.

I'm sorry, but the only thing from that whole article that stuck in my juvenile little mind was this...
Quote:
...Simon Cocks, waste water services director...

If your surname is Cocks, should you really be director of pee services?

I love plumbing.

Plumbing has the first two of those too. And hairy arse cracks.

In all honesty, I meant "I love plumbing" as in "I love doing plumbing", not "I love the silly words". I'm a right nerd for DIY type stuff. Current thing du jour (annum, really) is drystone walling.

I'm working with the plumber right now at work. I was dreading it but I'm actually really enjoying it.
