I'm downloading programs to watch larter on iplayer. Presently 875KBps is my downstream, nice and fast.
Should I not be doing this and trying to watch a stream in HD instead, I'm told my connection is not fast enough. How come, when it clearly is?

You using that official downloader bollocks I take it? I'd love to use the alternative means of ipdl to grab stuff, but the BBC have rendered it somewhere bordering on the Fucking Useless level with their tampering of late, and it'll be a week or so before the author can get round to fixing it.
