Poppet Toffee & Mint - a big fan of Toffee poppets, as we all are, but the first time I had eaten the mint ones. And they are excellent. I'm a big fan of the Junior Mint, and these are a brilliant UK equivalent. 3/π

Wispa Gold - Aasn't sold on this when I saw it in the shops. I suspected they had got the ratio of cameral to chocolate wrong (chocy bars are all about ratios) - but it has a hefty chunk to it and was beautiful. Would recommend putting in the fridge before eating for most optimum choco-excellence. 2.8/π

The big bag of mixed sweets - I'm a huge fan of drum sticks and the like so this was an easy winner. Also had bags of those little cola pebble fizzy things that you can seem to get anymore. Awesome stuff. Still had loads of their rubbish Parma Violets in. No one likes them. Bar idiots. So I gave them to my idiot friend. 2.7/π

The Natural Food Co. Sweets - Have always stayed away from these on the grounds that the less natural ingredients in sweets the better they are. HOW WRONG I WAS. Now my favourite sweet brand by far. Superb flavours. Superb texture. BUY SOME TODAY. 3.1/π

A shop in Saltcoats sells Parma Violet candles. I usually buy one every time I get paid because walking into the living room when it's burning and making the place smell all pretty is awesome.

As I mentioned ages ago violet turkish delight is made of win & the ice cream shop in Killie that makes Irn-Bru flavoured ice cream makes violet ice cream too, but it's a wee bit powdery.

I would rather they make poo candles.

I heard the merges and monopolies commission made them add parma violets to their multibags because otherwise the sweets would be so good it would be anti-competitive.
