You win a few games, get a reputation as being devious and then always get lynched on the first day after myp votes for you. Bah.

I liked your spirited (ho) defence, though.

I would have defended myself mroe vigorously (possibly by roleclaiming as something, for a laugh), but the boss was looking over my shoulder a lot on that day!

A347826547896 kid's idea for Slimer to roleclaim is horrifically bad. If Slimer was successful last night then the GBs could be hamstrung for the entire game.

I hope Runcle's asking for clarification if it's a good idea or not isn't him accidentally roleclaiming it.

The ghosts continue to deplete their numbers.

If they held a village idiot contest, they'd all win.

Most people seemed to lynch me for something they thought I had said but hadn't, bizarrely.

If the ghost team wins do we still qualify as winners, even though we personally are out?

Three possible reasons I was targeted:

1 - My finger-pointing was pointing in the right direction.

2 - I was acting so much like I had nothing to lose that they thought I must have had something to lose.

3 - I was being really annoying and they just wanted me to shut the fuck up.

What has really surprised me is that once someone has been eliminated from the game, nobody is thinking about who might have been trying to get rid of them, or why, and whether the people who were eliminated were perhaps on the right track, etc.

This 'out of sight, out of mind' mentality is playing in to the hands of the Busters, who will be happily obfuscating their merry little hearts out.

Even Mr Dave doesn't seem to want to work out who might have wanted me dead. Hmm.

I think this is the primary motivation behind everyone's actions in the game so far, on both sides

I'll be honest, I think they busted you purely and simply because they thought you were most likely to be a ghost out of everyone, so they were least likely to hit a human. Even I had come to that conclusion, and I've been pointing the finger at almost everyone

I hope they lynch Craster in my memory, but also a part of me hopes he sticks around till the end and wipes them all out.

If they let today time out then we may as well just end the game now and ban everyone from the board...

Rev - we offed you because we thought you were slimer. We thought that because you immediately voted for Kovacs, it looked like you knew something. We figured you roleblocked KC day 1, then when the GBs didn't hit anyone that night, assumed he was a GB. We were wrong, natch.

Hooray! My prediction is currently running at 1/3, which is probably my best hit rate ever.

There's a major problem with these rules, that the town don't appear to have figured out. Once a GB is exposed, killing him is a terrible idea when you can just keep the GBs neutered by roleblocking him. Hence my suicide.

How would you be exposed, though?

Well the minute Vigo pipes up or Slimer claims a hit.

Slimer, maybe. Vigo doens't know if he's found a GhostBuster or a serial killer, as their win conditions are the same until they find each other.

The rules say that the SKs win condition is SK, unless one of them dies before they make Mr Stay Puft.

They really need me there to re-iterate that Mimi's "I'm a nice sweet girlie, I couldn't possibly do any harm" act is highly transparent, still

And tried to hint to it, but no-one (except possibly the Ghostbusters) picked up on it.

And here's me thinking they lynched Craster because I told them he was a bad guy and they felt bad about lynching me.

I certainly didn't, but then again I'm not looking as closely as I was when I'm in it. I had you down as a regular ghoulie to be honest.

I picked up on it, if it was his first post after fidning him saying "It would be crass to... etc".



Not much chat in here as I know all the roles, so I can't say much.

They should hit one of the quiet ones today. Zaphod's list and logic is good I think, if he's acting then he's very very skilled.

Hah, yep, that was it. I was hoping someone would pick up on it, and then someone other than me would suggest that we keep Craster alive and get Slimer to roleblock him.

And no, they didn't. It's obvious they didn't, as the night timed out. Quite why (still!) no-one picked up on that is beyond me.

No-one seemed to pay attention, then.

Well, you said on the first night that day 1 would not start before 9am on Tuesday (as the night ended on a Friday, and we had a bank holiday Monday) so I think we inferred from that that even if everyone had sent in a day action within 10 minutes of the night ending, it still would have started at the same time.

And what time did night two actually start?

No idea why we let it time out, considering we'd decided to do nothing.

Most of the people in the game are being very stupid.

None of them are looking back to see what the dead people were up to, who they suspected, if Gaz left any messages, etc.

I now know who people are... can God please confirm that active participants in the game cannot view this Dead Zone section before I start making comments that give some decent hints?

I may have told him, after first ensuring that he wouldn't tell anyone... such as by posting that he knew on the self same internet forum.

I thought I was only promising not to tell anyone what the roles were... I didn't realise I wasn't allowed to say that I know full stop!!!!!!!!!111!

Obviously I have a more esoteric defence to hand as well if needed. And if you're still grumpy that I know, imagine Grim came to the pub with me and I bought him a pint.

I'm quite peeved that people are suggesting that I offed myself because I was going on holiday, rather than it being a brilliant strategic move to ensure the other GBs were free to act. There's no way Slimer wouldn't block someone who was 1 vote away from a lynch in the closing few seconds.

Probably because anyone who said something like that wouldn't be given credit for figuring it out themselves and would instead be lynched as a fellow GB, on the grounds that "how else would they know what you were thinking?".

Or alternatively, because people don't seem to be very smart in this particular version of the game.

If the ghosts get their lynch wrong today, they're utterly and irredeemably f$@ked.
