Isabelle Rose born at 7.02am this morning - 7lbs 2oz. I suppose Lady Droman did all right, too.

Isabelle Rose doesn't look too pleased about being woken up just for a stupid picture.

Having met Isabelle briefly today I can confirm she is the most gorgeous baby ever and I can't wait to see her again and give her a cuddle :)

The new parents are a little bleary eyed but pleased as punch with their little bundle of joy. I blubbed when I saw them, partly because I'm an emotional fool, but also because I'm so incredibly proud of them. :D

Congratulations,

My latest baby is now almost 9 months old and she is into everything, and has such a feisty streak it's untrue.

Enjoy the next couple of years, because every week will bring along new developments, each one will have it's own challenges, and each one will be rewarding in its own way.

You'll also be knackered come the end of it.

Malc

Awesome work, Dromans!

She looks absolutely lovely by the way! Prepare yourself for how quickly she seems to grow and develop and get prettier and prettier with each passing day. Being a dad is awesome!

Also, Isabelle Rose is a lovely name... Zioette's real name (no, it's not Zioette on the birth certificate to my eternal shame) is Rosie funnily enough.

Talking of which... I have been taking steps to introduce her to extreme geekdom at a young age...
(spoilered, 'cos I'm trying not to hijack the thread away from the Droman's awesome news)

Neat.

In kiddie related stuff my 15 year old daughter scored an A in her French GCSE or whatever they're called (she sat it early, got the result today as she was on holiday when they came out)

Oh wow, congrats mate. By (not so) curious coincidence, a friend of mine also gave birth to a bouncing baby the same day. Wish you, the wife and the baby all the joy - truly many congratulations, mate. :luv:

Don't forget to see if they've got 'Yo-Ho Ahoy' on DVD for her in a few years time, it's completely brilliant.

He might need to open his eyes as well.

Actually, maybe not.
