Try holding your phone up to your ear. Old skool.

I don't use those things because they make you look like a mad person. I have seen people shopping with them saying things like "No I'm not buying that", and "I don't like those", seemingly to themselves.

Sunvisor. Bloody brilliant it is as well. Lasts for ages on a single charge and much better sound quality than an earpiece.

Can't remember what brand I have. Got it from Carphone Warehouse though. About 35 quid IIRC.

I used to have an ear thingy, but the Tomcat is too loud and the Mundano has all that shit built in (related), and I hardly ever drive my other cars now.

Bluetooth earpieces are just the new thing for those blokes who used to go around everywhere with their phones in holsters on their belts.

I used to use them all the time, and I still often do when I'm working on my car. Can't pick up the phone with hands covered in grease.

The bluetooth phone features on my Tom Tom are fucking brilliant.

It is better when driving... instead of the wires etc..

just the sunvisor ones look better... just wondered which ones folks had..

It's excusable when driving. I was thinking of people you see walking round the supermarket wearing them, occasionally pressing them into their ears and secretly fantasising that they're in the CIA and engaged in foiling a terrorist plot.

Problem is that you don't always want the Tom Tom on and in the car. Neat features but it assumes you always have it on. So a visor is better.

And no I still haven't looked. Car is too far away.

I used to use a Plantronics one, good battery life and sound. Best I've used. I gave up in the end though and just got a wire set instead. Never runs out of power, even when the phone does.

For me it was just a nice bonus to have the bluetooth stuff rather than actively wanting it. Oh that voice though.... when it reads out dirty text messages you send yourself.

I assumed he was inferring that the CIA assist with terrorist plots rather than trying to foil them :)

Just checked mine.

It's a Supertooth Visor Go. I have the old version of this:

Actually I was trying to infer that it is more amusing to fantasise about blowing things up than stopping other people from blowing things up. There is far less paperwork, for one thing.
