Right so...

I've got a Wii, sold about 20 of my games last xmas because they were either unplayed, shit or shit and unplayed. Got a few left, including Wii sports because I like it.

Now, there's this Wii sports 2 out and I had a go of the flying around this afternoon. Quite liked the motionplus although it is blatantly just what the wiimote was supposed to be in the first place. I can't see me getting many, if any, games that use it other than Resort... but I really do want that game.

It is Fourty quid with a dongle and another dongle is 20 quid so to get the game and make it so 2 people can play it you are basically paying sixty quid for the title. If people consider it to have twice the longevity of Wii Sports 1 I'll probably get it. If not, then I won't

On games that use the motion controller. The EA tennis game is meant to be pretty good, and Red Steel 2 actually looks pretty good, got a similar graphic style to borderlands.

If Red Steel 1 was anything to go by, you can safely ignore any screenshot of Red Steel 2.

wii sports resort has much depth indeed, even if you do only the flying, you are happy for quite some time

Fuck me I hated Red Steel, even when I realised it was supposed to play a bit more like time crisis than, say, goldenye. It was the first game I ever traded in, fact fans.

I haven't used the Wii much in ages (I turned it on a few weeks ago, and that was the first time since the end of Jan). Even modding it for 'homebrew' japery hasn't really resulted in much more playtime - although even a few minutes is more than none, I suppose.
