It's only nine strips long, but it's very good, and very sad.

Poor Warbot :(

But yeah, there's been a thread on good webcomics before, but it normally ends up with arguing about Penny Arcade.

I like:
Order of the Stick
MegaTokyo
Alien Loves Predator
Concerned
Gunnerkrigg Court

ZOMG Spoiler! Click here to view!
Is it just me, or does it say 'NO LOVE' on his suicide note?

That's what I read. And he spent two days and nights on it, too.

Thanks Grim..., now I want to cry.

-edit- in fact, it took him all day/night Monday and Tuesday to write, because his boss finds it on Wednesday. :(

The only webcomic that has made me want to cry was the "Wanna play blocks with me?" "More than anything." strip from OOTS.
I need to stop thinking about that now.

[edit] http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0496.html It's from about a 2007, but look out for spoilers if you're trying to read the whole comic from the start.

Sure. I know nothing about D&D. Link in the edited post. Clue: He's in 'Heaven'.

Absolutely brilliant.

It's amazing how emotional the strips are with so little text.

I want to help Warbot! :'(

This thread is as good as any for "sad comic stuff".

Even though this isn't a comic.

SHUT UP.

It is best not to start a new thread, due to database clutter (according to our admin).

A few of the Warbot ones miss the mark a bit. Approximately 5 of them are a only a little bit sad rather than full on blarting.

And the Penny Arcade guy just seems all "I hate my dad I hate my dad oh, he's dying so maybe I don't hate him quite as much". Which is about the level of complexity I'd expect from him given some of the crap he's come out with in the comic.
