Inspired by Glinner's twitter. My favourite so far:

"Predator fights Vivienne Westwood"

Ah, is that what his latest Tweets have been about? In which case I nominate Glinner's "Kramer vs Predator". Meanwhile, Twitter spammers really do deserve to be stabbed in the eyes with forks.

#horrendousnamedrop I was hugely delighted last week when Mr Linehan retweeted a blog post of mine (in turn, followed by @spotify, as that's what it was about), leading to my visitor count increasing by about 1200% (before returning to its standard level of Not That Many).

(* Though it has to be said, I'd much rather the usual 100 hugely brilliant, lithe and sexy people visit my blog each day, rather than 1,200 link-clicking chumps. So, you know what to do if you want to be included in that demographic. Hey, what are you doing with those forks? Aiee.)

I've been doing the Alien vs Predator vs Kramer vs Kramer joke for years. Not sure if I made it up or stole it from someone, it's been so long.

I liked you better before you SOLD OUT and became MAINSTREAM. I demand more posts about obscure old TV station logos!

The latest update contains a YouTube clip of a static ITV strike caption, and some 1979 post-strike continuity, including a song by The Mike Sammes Singers. That thousand or so new readers won't be back.
