Gay clubs are amazing. I love going to gay clubs - the music's cheery, people are friendly and non-judgemental, obviously if you're straight you're unlikely to pull, but once you take that out of the equation you can get on with just enjoying your night. I tend to go to them more than straight clubs these days, although a lot of my friends are gay or lesbian (or both), so that is a factor.


Do you research before going to one though, because apparently there's a a 'wrong type' of gay club, where people have sex in the toilets. DO NOT WANT.

What I want to know is why does preferring to put your penis in other men than ladies make it socially acceptable to grope people? What the fuck is wrong with our society.

Also, how dare they charge £5 to get in, and still have the gall to play both Cher and the spice girls.

I used to be a regular at a gay pub. As in a pub where the main clientele who choose to go there are homosexual, rather than a pub that is set up to be a gay pub.

It was quiet, everyone minded their own business, the beer was good, and the jukebox was stocked with a wide range of music. Never any trouble. (well, rarely I remember witnessing a fight outside between a loudmouth bigot and his chav son and a very nice gentleman... the two morons who started the fight neglected the fact that a) their idea of a workout was pie and chips twice, while the gay gentleman was a regular down the gym, and b)their fighting style was the ancient Art of the Flailing Windmill while the other gentleman not only boxed, but also did tai chi and judo. Needless to say it was highly entertaining.)

I witnessed one fight whilst in this club.

If the were punching each others bums, thats not a fight, thats just affection. Though sometimes their punches go right inside, which is a bit gross. But they didn't seem to mind. In fact they seemed to quite like it.

As an example when I was working the call center out in NJ USA we had a good few gays there. Lovely blokes for the most part, but one of them? FFS.

He would sit at work and all of a sudden just blurt out for no apparent reason whatsoever "I LOVE SUCKING DICK !". One time he sat there and told a couple of the ladies all about how he can't have too much sex because he gets an infection in his colon and has to take some green algae vitamins to clear it.

Why? I mean, just, why? Why behave like that? If a woman outburst with comments like that she would instantly be branded a slag, whore, slapper whatever. If a woman sat there and described how her yeast infections looked like cream cheese and how she had to lay off sex during one.. Well I'm sure you catch my drift. That's just not acceptable fucking behavior from anyone. Of course I find it all very confusing seeing as I suffer from a mental illness and tend to blurt things out, some of them outrageous. But fuck me, these cunts make me look completely normal tbh.

Fast forward to yesterday and on the local news there was a parade for gay pride or something over in Brighton. There they were, dressed as women smothered in makeup being completely and totally fucking outrageous and wondering why they get a bad rap?

Why does it seem to me that gay in some cases just means "confused, stupid, loud and ridiculous"? I mean, you don't see hetrosexuals or lesbians behaving like that do you? They wouldn't be allowed tbh. If a bunch of hetros or lesbians acted like that they'd be cleared from the streets.

But some straight men do loudly proclaim their sexuality to all and sundry; I'm sure most people must've encountered someone whose entire personality seemed to revolve around how much pussy they got, and how much pussy they were going to get this weekend, etc. Then there's the stereotype of the "GET YER TITS OUT"-shouting builder, the guys that shout out of cars at passing women, etc. It's very common but somehow always seems to be forgotten when someone's complaining about loud camp gay men.

The last time I went to a gay bar, I'd never seen so many guys washing their hands after going for a pee. That isn't a sex-in-the-toilets joke or anything, that's an actual fact. I'd happily eat the bar snacks if I go there again.

Again, "bar snacks" isn't a euphemism for a man's cock and balls.

I think you are mixing up 'Gay people' and 'Screaming Queens'.

The thing is, when you are in a gay pub/gay pride whatever, you are conditioned to being aware of the existence of acreaming queens, and so when you see them, you were expecting it. Go into a non-gay pub (or, a pub frequented by homosexuals which is not branded as such) and you are in your normal confort zone so you dont notice, or readily have a label for the loud mouthed drunk twats fighting, harassing the bar staff, touching women up on the dancefloor etc etc.

I had a clien which was a gay bar once, went there after our christmas do and horrifically they had a gay stripper on stage. This was completely unacceptable and wholly different from the time I paid a lapdancer £30 to wave her lunch in my face.

No, but I think you saw twattish behaviour, which I think you associated with the gay scene, without adding the balance that any club/bar has its fair share of twats.

Thing is, I've never, ever, seen a hetrosexual male, female or lesbian act in such a manner. And I know some real pigs but none of them compare to the gay pigs I have met. Not that I'm bashing on gays of course, that's merely just an observation I have made.

I think what it comes down to is people manipulating tollerance tbh. I mean, I don't give a shit about gays, lesbians or whatever because of course that's their life choice. And, I also believe that as humans we have the right to do or be whoever we want (within the eyes of the law, of course). But it just seems to me that people abuse people's tollerance and acceptance (as we now have for gays and rightly bloody so) to entertain their own gains of pushing the boundaries.

For example. If I was at work and I belted out "I LOVE EATING PUSSY" then I am sure that the entire workplace and his dog would have complained about it, getting me the sack (and rightly so).

However, this gay bloke did it and people didn't say a word about it, until he was gone, then they all said how fucking disgusting and anti social it was.

Why? well probably because he was gay. And the fucking moment you dare say anything to him about it he would have seen it as a chance to get up on his soap box and go off on one about people being homophobic.

To me there is a difference between accepting gays and being forced to accept behaviour like that. Assholes are assholes, black, white, gay, lesbian, hetro, metro ETC, ETC. If you are a cunt you are a cunt.

Do you live on the TV or something? Gay clubs are just night clubs. There's good ones and there's bad ones.

I've been to enough of both to know how they compare in general thanks, Grim. There are of course bad ones, like I alluded to in my post.

I don't live on the TV, but even if I did, that would be better than living on an internet forum.

I've always just assumed that it's something to do with insecurity perhaps or asserting their identity in the face of prejudice or something like that. The point is I can think of reasons as to why someone who is gay might be a bit overly loud about it.
