Yeah, we did know. I think I may have mentioned it in passing previously but just wanted to have a bit of show and tell action.

That'll account for all the shouting.

I hope little Angela is born on 2nd Sept so she shares a birthday with her namesake.

Awesomes Cpt_Droman. Being a dad is not something you can really prepare for IMO, but it is utterly amazing nonetheless!

Also... at the moment of birth, you will cry. I was perfectly composed throughout the entire (rather arduous) birth of my daughter, but the second she arrived I blubbed like a little girl.

I cried the first time we saw her beating heart.
And almost when i felt her have hiccups while i had my hand on Jemma's tummy.

Well done!

Grim...

Congrats Droman!

There's still time for games, don't worry. Between 11pm and 2am, once baba is in a routine, natch.

Have the child with an ex-partner, with the child living with aforementioned ex, and have pretty much as much gaming time as you like!

Actually, on second thoughts, don't do this. Having to say goodbye to your baby daughter and knowing you won't get to see her again for a few days sucks donkey balls. :(

But! Mama Zioette does send me a photo of my daughter everyday when I'm at work, which proves surprisingly effective at helping one to get through dull work days.

Sounds a bit repetitive to be honest... I mean she's just going to look the same as the day before, isn't she?

And stop attention-whoring Steve - I already know you're officially fertile, no need to wave it in my face 8)

You'd be surprised by:

a) how quickly they grow and change.
b) how it is impossible to get bored seeing your own child.

a) pretty sure they don't grow and change so fast that it is noticeable on a day-by-day basis
b) pretty sure my mum and dad would take issue with that :p

Pretty possible I am... although how I would have been any more wrong within the first week of my life I'm not entirely sure ;)

No, she thanked him and 9 months later my sister was born.
