Hello! Who wants to see a double bill of Alien and Poltergeist on the 31st at Somerset House, London?

The tickets are £16 each, and the screenings start at 21:15 (so it's going to be a late one).

John "Kane" Hurt will be introducing the films.

Confound you. I love Somerset House. Alas*, I cannot come for this. Although that may be better for you, as I'd undoubtedly spend the whole time reminiscing all moony-eyed, like.

I am, until around eight.

Just knock what you're doing on the head and come do this instead. It'll be more fun ;)

I'd love to but it's way too short notice. It'd cost about seven million pounds in train fare alone.

What? I'm there!

After I've been to see the Ashes at Edgbaston (Joans is providing me free tickets).

You have friends, but they're all doing something much much better that night.
