Ahoy!

A few months ago I found an excellent t-shirt website. You could upload an image and have it printed on a t-shirt - nothing special there, but this one would let you choose the colour of the t-shirt and the manufacturer. It had American Apparel t-shirts amongst the options, and they're generally of decent quality and fit good. So, I want to use that site rather than one that prints on shit Fruit of the Loom shirts. Anyone have any ideas which one it was? Or do you know of another that does good t-shirts that aren't all misshapen and don't fit properly?

Thanks!

Talking of T-shirts:

http://nofriendsmerchant.com/men/tees.html has 15% off Tees, using the code Easymoney. Shame I has no money. Good stuff there, though

Yeah, but this one was in the UK and offered more choice.

Mine are usually misshapen after I've worn them. :(

If a t-shirt doesn't fit properly, it just means you bought a size too small.

Untruth!

If they're the wrong shape, it doesn't matter what size you get.

It depends whether or not you mean "Doesn't physically fit onto my body" or "I guess it fits, but it's not quite the right shape for my body".

I have a couple of Duck and Cover tee-shirts that fit me beautifully. I have other tee-shirts of the same rough size that don't — their sleeves are perhaps a bit too baggy etc. Unfortunately the best-fitting tee-shirts I've found cost me upwards of £25 a pop.

This is exactly what I mean. I have over 100 t-shirts (really), but only maybe 10 really "fit" me in a way I like. The rest, although the same size as my favourite ones, don't "fit right".

Why have you bought 90 t-shirts that don't fit right?

eBay! I also have 20 pairs of Levi 501s. I have one favourite pair that I like and don't wear the rest. The upshot is they all cost between 2 and 5 quid.

You see, these modern denims are of poor quality. So I'd rather buy five pairs of old Levi's really cheap (for some reason they all fit differently despite being the same size/"model"), and get one pair I like, than spend £40 on shit denim that I know will fit because I tried them on in a shop.

I tend to buy clothes that fit me as I am not a fucking idiot.

Buying lots of cheap clothes that don't fit you is not the best way to save money.

Tee-shirts tend to lose shape slightly as they get older, too. I don't have a hundred, but I've a fair few at the back of my wardrobe that I don't consider to "fit" me any more; they're fine for bed and lounging about, but I don't wear them out.

I don't buy clothes online. I have to make sure they fit me first. There are a couple of brands I'd probably trust enough to order online from now, mind.

I'm not trying to save money, I'm trying to find a good pair of jeans that fit me exactly how I want them to and last a long time! :smug:

I have a silly amount of T-shirts too - way into the 100s.
Today I am wearing this one: http://www.pennyarcademerch.com/pat070311.html

If anything I'm the complete opposite! You don't catch me hanging around and trying things on. I buy, take home and if it doesn't fit, it goes in the wardrobe... Girls take things back, man. Seriously, I'm such a lazy cunt when it comes to taking things back for a refund/exchange. Unless it's a game or something, of course.

The best-fitting jeans I've found are motorbike ones and cost £120 :(

I needed to try some swimming shorts on in a shop the other day. I wasn't sure if I'd fit into the 32" waist ones (but I did - yay) as I'm usually a 34. It took me 20 minutes of queuing waiting for all the women to finish trying on a hundred of each model. Seriously: see if the size fits in the changing room, decide if it suits you on he shop floor. I was in and out in under 2 minutes, I reckon.
