Fucking kids harping on about "cutting defence spending" and "we're a small island nation, why do we need to spend so much". Ginger knob.

I'm coming to the conclusion that the age to stand for Parliament should be around 40 or something. I remember when I was that age and had similar 'like-to-teach-the-world-to-sing' views, mostly due to a lack of experience of the real world. Raising the age would mean that people might have at least some knowledge of human life other than politics.


EDIT and when I was 18 and went to see 'Question Time' that bastard Dimbleby didn't pick me. Git.
