Yes I know most of you would rather set fire to a PC than play a game on one, but there's no denying the loveliness of this deal on Steam at the moment.

£34.99 for this lot, not bad value even if you have a few of the games, amazing value if you haven't.

I've played through Bioshock on the 360 (or rather, fumbled through it with a pad), so it'll be nice to give it a go on the PC, and oddly I've never played Civ3 or Civ4, despite absolutely loving the original Civ and Civ2 to pieces.

Seems like a cheap way to amass a game collection. Problem is the only game I would play in there is Bioshock and I already have it hehe.

Do you not really like Steam then? From your previous posts on the topic I've never got that impression, so this comment comes as a surprise to me.

The only games i bought there were World of Goo, Geometry Wars and Trials 2 at promotions. Why should i care for something that rents games for much more than what it costs at retail. I really despise valve's attitude with the European costumers. But well, it's just a business and we can chose to buy or not.

I might buy this. It appears to be an awful lot of games, although I'm not sure how much play I'll get out of some of them (Civ3? Really? And I'm unlikely to return to BioShock).
