What was decided about the SWOS cup thing we were doing?

Le sigh.

The poll ended as a dead-heat between starting again and resuming with the WoS members. I made a decision we'd carry on, as there was vociferous support for this idea. Unfortunately since then I've been quite busy, and to be honest, I feel like the time has now passed for us to pick it up and carry on where we left off.

If there's enough support for it, I'm quite happy setting up a new league, but I really want everyone who joins in to be fully supportive and not drop out after two games because they don't have time.

Surely everyone can spare 3 minutes a week away from GTA IV, Mario Kart Wii, Forza, TDU and Burnout Paradise?

I didn't respond to the previous thread about this as I didn't have an Eggbox360 but I have one now and I'd like to join a leauge!

I can spare at LEAST 3 minutes a week to play against you lot!! That sounds like a lot of fun.

So suggestions for format? I think it dragged on too long last time. Depending on the amount of people signing up, I say groups of a maximum of 4-5, each play once in a round-robin, followed by a straight knockout.

There's no extra-time and penalties in SWOS multiplayer, so drawn matches would be replayed, but ONLY in the knockout stages.

How does this work, usually? Is there a set time, or do the two players pick a time between themselves?

I might join in, y'see, but I work odd times so I don't want to commit to something and let you all down.
