Does anyone sell classic gaming posters? Ie the Barbarian artwork or other classic 8 bit games?

The Barbarian poster came free with the big box editions of the game. At least, my Speccy version did.

I have the British Computer Club version, which is devoid of poster and Maria.

eBay for it? IIRC one of the early Retro Gamers came with an Olly Frey poster, too. Oh, and the Game Over one.

Just been on Ebay. Lots of copies of the game but mainly Barbarian 2 and lacking posters. Alot of budget versions as well which doesn't help. None of the full price versions seem to have it.

Of course, if you'd have been an Edge subscriber this month, you'd have got one of the best most frickin awesome posters ever made as a bonus.

Now why isn't that an online 'identify the game' picture? That'd be loads better than the Empire one.

Spotted Manny from Grim Fandango yet? Or Frank West from Dead Rising. I am seriously considering a trip to Ikea to get a frame for it, it's that lush. Frickin hyowj too.

It'll be in The Den. The front room currently has framed Land of the Dead, Evil Dead 2 and Shaun of the Dead promo posters up.

ZOMG Spoiler! Click here to view!
Manny's under a tree at the back of the Speedball dome.
Frank's just south of the Ghosts N Goblins graveyard on the pavement. Hard to make out on this shitty jpeg, but it is him.

Not as far as I can tell.
ZOMG Spoiler! Click here to view!
There's 3 zombies on the street level, one of which is wearing the Lego helmet from Dead Rising, with what looks like M Bison on the top of the building on eye level with the Cacodaemon. I found Mister Chef and Metal Gear Solid Man Person by Dr Kurosawa. Sub-Zero is holding up a head in the middle of a street. Lara Croft is just peeking out over a brown truck by the Syndicate Men.

It's awesome. Can't take my eyes off it.

Edit:
ZOMG Spoiler! Click here to view!
Oh and Flicky's representing down at the bottom by the Animal Crossing petting zoo

I'm disappointed that the Syndicate agents aren't in the top right near that fire that looks rather like the burning people from Syndicate.

You know, the ones that the Flamer makes, with the disturbingly lovely "aieeee" sound effect that they make as they run around screaming before turning into a pile of ash.

Er - they're on the mid left. Next to the burning people from Syndicate.

I see a 48K spectrum and a c64. No Amstrad.

I see a NES, a Vectrex(?) and a Gameboy. No GX4000.

Nice poster. Is it included in the normal issue or just subbers?

The first ICO one is hanging on the wall in the Penny-Arcade office, the second is in my front room.

She is working on a BG&E one atm.

That is cool, especially like the Disgaea and Okami pics. Relm from FFVI is particularly well executed too.

The official version would be better but it was the best I could source. Still not keen on that Edge posted mind. To pour petrol on the flames I'm also not a huge fan of Oliver Frey.
