Type in your search query, then vote for the one out of the three that gave you the best results. Pretty interesting, as the new MS offering seems to be pretty sharp.

It's going to be a Microsoft site, isn't it?

I haven't voted Bing yet, but I am surprised that Yahoo! seems to be beating Google for me.

The guy works for MS but says it's a personal project.

To be honest, the fact that it shows you three sets of results then you pick the best one before it reveals which is which suggests that the only way for it to be biased would be for it to outright lie, which would be unlikely.

I got one vote for each! Very interesting though... Although I couldn't really spot any major difference, Google does seem to be slightly behind the other two.

Incidentally, the searches Google won on were:

"Craster badgers"

"Malia mighty pirate"

and

"Westboro Rapists"

I am going to switch my Firefox default search engine to Bing. Let's see how long until I switch back to Google, like I normally do.

Join in, chums!

Actually, it's clear to me that the best search engine to use is this blind one, that brings back all three sets of results.

Does anyone in the world use Lycos anymore? I just checked and it's still there... but it's so 1998!

See also Altavista (which I use for images as Google images is blocked from work).

Altavista is owned by Yahoo! now. I think it's just a different skin on the Yahoo! search engine.

Ha! It's better than that:
