Doesn't look like Sony are offering their own stream :( Fucking idiots.

  • Microsoft - Monday June 1st - 6.25pm - With Sky TV already announced they are rumoured to be announcing a Lionhead game and er, dunno.
  • Nintendo - Tuesday June 2nd - 5pm - New Wii Fit, Mario and Zelda to be talked about, though the Zelda is most likely the DS game
  • Sony - Tuesday June 2nd - 7pm - They already spoilt their announcement of the PSPGo so I don't know. Oh I bet Little Big Planet PSP gets a talking 'bout.

Personally I hope for a 2D Mario Platformer for the Wii and then lots of new games that aren't sequels that are doomed to sink without a trace due to the idiocy of the xmas release rush. Sigh.

Buy? BUY? I haven't bought a single new game since joining Goozex and I'm still cherry picking through last year's Christmas release schedule for games I should have got :)

There is bound to be some Halo announcement and they've promised something big, so expect a Wii style motion controller I reckon.

  • I've completely lost interest in anything Nintendo do anymore. Haven't switched my Wii on for bloody ages and it's about a year since I've played anything on my DS, so unless it's a new Zelda for the Wii I can't see that changing any time soon.

  • No mention of the the new PSP in here other than this? Sorry state of affairs for Sony really.

I rock Gooozey hard mamn. Likewise I haven't bought a game since joining.

    (Shit, haven't sent Bobby's game! Sorry will do today/tomorrow. :( )

I'm really apathetic about it all this year. Last year I got quite excited about it all. But I think that was down to Mirror's Edge...

Halo ODST is still on schedule but apparently Bungie are working on something else in the Haloverse as well for release next year - it was leaked with a schedule slot of October 2010 or something.

If Halo DVLA is anything like Halo 3, consider me unexcited. I still can't understand why it has such a massive fanfare, when it's just a fairly bland, admittedly solidly-put-together FPS. It's not particularly interesting and the storyline is hardly amazing. I find it difficult to relate to a voiceless bloke in a mask.

You have clearly never played a co-op campaign on Legendary.

Yes I have! I'd argue that more or less anything in co-op with some chums can be ridiculously fun.

Looking at the Eurogamer review, I can't quite understand how they managed to give it a 10. Then I found this:

    http://www.challengerappears.com/blog/2 ... -a-review/

He didn't play the co-op mode and various other modes, and journalists were being given £20 notes for winning multiplayer matches.

Yes! There's loads of stuff that we don't know about yet and plenty we do. There's the Hideo Kojima thing which could be a new Metal Gear, there's the possibility of new Zelda and Mario games for the Wii, Lionhead are rumoured to be announcing a new 360 game, er, there's more. I'm genuinely excited about the three keynote speeches and I'm usually not bothered about E3. Well, not in the last couple of years anyway.

Also, tune in tonight to watch the MS speech:

New bit from that thing that's happening

    Quote:
EA and Crytek have announced Crysis 2 for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.

It's not only the first console game made by the developer, but also the first title to be built using CryEngine 3. Crytek sees the sequel as a "major stepping stone" for the studio.

    There are no other details.

Except Nintendo. Let's face it - the new Mario game will be "Cooking Mama - Mario Edition" or something like that.

The only thing that will make E3 interesting this year is if Konami suddenly announce a western release of Otomedius Gorgeous, or some loony software house say they've signed up all the Cave 360 shmups.

Apart from that, there's not a thing... Not. A. Single. Thing. ...that interests me.

i'm quite excited about a motiony camera thingy, but I have a feeling that M$* won't make very good software for it. So if it is good it will takes ages for a third party to have tome to make it funzor.

    * CUZ THEY JUST WANNA MAKE MONEY THE COMMIE BASTARDS.

I'm also quite excited about WiiFit Plus (SCREW THE HATERS ETC).

I'm just fed up with stuff being announced 6 months before release. Minimum.

1200 point games have sapped my enthusiasm for the XBLA too. It's all rather depressing.

SOURCES, damn it! Link to the item, don't just quote it! We're supposed to believe everything this "Lave" character says? Like, just accept it? I WON'T.

Personally I'll be having the Eurogamer Live Blog open and this:

    http://www.xbox.com/en-gb/e309/default.htm

Usually get streaming problems with the yank sites, but the xbox.com one will undoubtedly have reinforced bandwidth of steel.

    To clarify:

LIVE VIDEO FEED OF MS E3 SPEECH AT 6:25 PM HERE:

I'll buy it of course, but isn't it, like, fucking ridiculously too soon?

Kotaku are idiots remember. I'ld put money on it being more DLC. A new campaign or summin.

@Grim... I've fixed the links I included FOR YOUR BENEFIT.

Ah fuck it. Jonarobs got better sources anyhows. I've dropped them in the OP instead.

Getting a bit excited now. I like it when the internet gets worked up. I hope Halo is released for the PS3 or MGS 5 is a 360 exclusive - just because of how entertaining the wailing and gnashing of teeth over FFXIII was.

I kinda like it, but the anxious journalist in me wants to know EVERYTHING as soon as it happens and I have to sit in a dark room afterwards. I want it to be over so I can look at a nice bullet-pointed list of everything that's coming out. Ahhh.

At the same time, these "news" shit nuggets will most likely be: Screaming overexcited man from Miscororscfort screaming excitedly about a new... phh... Rayman Raving Rabbids game. Nitnedno saying that the new WiiMotes will be 0.5mm thicker. Snoy saying they've gone bust from an upturned crate in an empty docks warehouse.

    http://kotaku.com/5273950/new-and-old-monkey-island-adventures-in-the-works

    Quote:
The rumors of a remake of the original Monkey Island for Xbox Live Arcade are true, but it gets much better, as LucasArts and Telltale team up to deliver all-new episodic Monkey Island adventures.

Starting this July, Telltale will be releasing Tales of Monkey Island, a five-episode monthly adventure game series for the PC and WiiWare featuring the further adventures of Guybrush Threepwood and nemesis, LeChuck, as Guy accidentally releases a voodoo pox that threatens to turn the swashbuckling men of the Caribbean into pirate monsters, which is the only thing worse than just plain pirates.

Meanwhile, LucasArts is internally developing The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition, which is a completely update version of the 1990 original, complete with new graphics, a remastered musical score, and full voice-overs. FULL VOICE-OVERS.

This could either be very good news, or very sad news, depending on how they handle it. The Secret of Monkey Island is due out this summer on Xbox Live Arcade and the PC.

    Quick turn around Dimmers.

I'm a worrying feeling that a WiiWare/XBLA announcement may end up more interesting than the Microsoft talk...

Eurogamer's liveblog. Also, whilst navigating to that, it served me a set of Mass Effect 2 adverts.
