The weather is so awesome that i'm going to take the day off tomorrow just to spend on the beach surfing or doing absolutely nothing.

I hate you.

it's overcast and shit here, and i've not been surfing in over a year.

After the glorious weekend we've just had, it's been wet, windy and miserable all week thus far.

Miserable, rainy and cold.

Overcast and windy. Occasional sun poking through, but nothing exciting.

I'm taking this as sufficent justification to invade Portugal. Again.

Blue skies here, with a bit of cloud. Stuck at my desk, though!

Supposed to be nice again for weekend. I don't care if it's shit when I'm at work.

32ºC tomorrow. Clear skies and no wind. I also suspect not much waves then, so don't hate me Malia.

I have 4 boards gathering dust in the garage.



Was hoping to go down to Biarritz with a tent and spend a week camping and surfing, but that's off the cards this summer now.

Surfboards? I practice bodyboard. I always thought i was too big and clumsy to be standing up.

Biarritz is great, but if you want a nice surf trip try the Southwest of portugal. Damn beautiful and unexplored.

3 Bodyboards and a 7'8" minimal.

EDIT: I do need to get out again, soon, as last time, I had backflips 75% sorted.

The weather was that nice this weekend just gone that we've shelved our plans to 'just' go to Jersey, and are now looking at a last minute deal to somewhere nice and hot in the Med before all the chavs start going.

I just very nearly died playing 5-a-side tonight. I've never sweated so much, and I'm not the sweaty type! Phew!

It's been lovely here. Of course, I've been underground for most of the week, and only occasionally emerge, squinting painfully, into the daylight. My eyes were not built for the summer at all. Even with sunglasses on I can barely stand it.

May I just say that I hate summer with a passion, and can't wait for Autumn to get here. Summer = horrible and humid, plus added insects. I hate it. Give me rain and dark skies, any day.

Apparently, the east of Scotland (where the lovely Miss SDG has spent her weekend) he been gorgeous. Of course, the west coast where I live has been rubbish. Gadz.

Foggy as hell when I left home just now... until I got to the top of the mountain and it was bright and sunny. What I saw in my rearview mirror was so astonishingly lush I had to pull into the mountaintop parking and go and take pictures. The whole valley was filled with cloud, with the hills and mountains poking up out of it. Woweee!

I'm a student, I have no daily routine where I have to be up early, and Im just used to late nights anyway

It's glorious in Nottinghamshire today. I've been cycling wearing shorts for the last couple of weeks, but today I just wore a t-shirt without my windproof top. Fantastic!

Because the most direct road from Caerphilly to Cardiff goes up and over Caerphilly Mountain. I'll post the pics later.

It is lovely here in sunny.... LONDON (whay!!) but my eyes are sore from hay fever. I can put up with that for some nice weather though. am so fed up with it being grey.

Your fog drifted over to Bristol area this morning, I think. Was very weird going from beautiful blue skies and sun in Gloucestershire to "can't see more than 100 yards" as soon as I got into South Gloucestershire.

I'm sorely tempted to go out on the pushbike for 12.5 miles, now....

Can't wait to see your pics though, Metal. I'm downloading a trial of Adobe Photoshop Elements tonight to work on the Gower pics I took. Apparently we've got four more days of lovely sun in the forecast, so I'm off to Bristol with a friend or two on Sunday to do more snapping.

I need to buy a cheap but good pair of trainers for running about in with this nice weather going on. Any suggestions? Anyone know what Globe trainers are like?

Lovely weather again here, and once again stuck at my desk having to do work. Got up early and went for a few miles' ride, which was nice, but it's so hot I came back quite sweaty.

Yep, definitely taking the afternoon off. I might cycle all the way to Mansfield and back instead of going straight home.

It's lovely in sheffield again today

I've just got back from riding bikes in the sun. Sweat is glistening over my once finely honed torso. Also knocked a staggering 2 and a half hours off the previous best time, set with mrsA, covering the route in 1 hour ten minutes.

I was blinded this morning by the sunnyshine on the watter to the point where I had to sit down & shut my eyes for a few minutes & let them recover. I really should buy another pair of prescription sunnies
All you need's a wee tin of ginger.

A like mind! Although I like Winter even more than Autumn.
