I'd like Vans if they weren't so sickeningly shit looking. They look like those pumps things the poor kids used to wear in PE.

Those are possibly the gayest shoes I have ever seen.

I've only bought Vans trainers for the past 15 years or so. i had them before they were on the feet of blur. They offer sublime grip on flat pedals and skateboards. And are for cool kids.

Do you mean Converse? Vans do skate shoes.

Do they allow easy access to 1 foot high wooden benches? Or climbing frames that fit onto a hall wall and are swunged out and stuff? How is the grip on thin blue padded mats?

Vans do shit pumps, as well as shit skate shoes.

LOLs aside I've been wearing És & Etnies skate shoes, super comfy and hard wearing.

I find Airwalks superior to Vans.

I fibbed earlier, I remembered I had one pair of Etnies which were green and red and I disliked them.

An ex girlfriend of mine has the same pair of vans as me at the same time in the same size which amused me a bit as I swapped them so I had non smelly trainers once.

The original type waffle sole Vans do give lots of grip however they don't have the padding that these old knees now need. Also beware of buying your Vans from TK Maxx or a sports shop, they'll probably be dad Vans and all the cool kids will point and laugh at you. Besides all the cool kids are wearing Lakai or Adidas Skateboarding now.

I've got a pair of Airwalks I wear at work. They are indeed very comfy.

I've got waffle soles on the 3 pairs of Vans in the house atm. Refuse to buy vans which don't.

Those aren't skate shoes they are basketball shoes that would go really well with an ironically worn wolf fleece and a nintendo tattoo.

Hmm, same here. I don't really like the last ones I got though so am still on the previous pair which are now authentically knackered.

I think the problem there was buying them online. I need size 13, which the shops rarely have, and you sort of need to try them to know if you'll like them.

I would wear these for the rest of time if i could get hold of another pair. I had 4 pairs of these in different colours at one point.

I went to buy some new darker trainers not long after I'd started seeing Joans, but then realised they were what I'd seen him wearing so I put them back. Bah.

And I. Size 8 here. Big feet look daft unless your legs are bulky enough to stop you looking like a clown. Mine aren't.

I have size 8 feet, which are fairly small, I guess. MrsA's 13 year old nephew is size 7 I think... but I suppose they are all hobbitses.

I'm on my last pair of Puma States, I bought a shit load of them when they drifted out of fashion & were selling cheap. Occasionally I'll get a pair of Globes or DC's, but I really like the fit of the Puma's so I tend to stick with them.
