'A biker gang who protects a small town from Drug dealers & Property developers'

Is this based on a true story?

It's loosely based on me and Droman when we were on opposite sides of the tracks back in Southampton.

Ron Perlman AND Mitch Pileggi!

I'm in!

Thanks for this post, I'd have missed it otherwise.

Also: new Flight of the Concords tonight. Yay!

We watched the first series of Sons of Anarchy and really got into it. It's fairly daft but it has some good moments and storylines so you just go along with it.

Bravo i think...made by the same people who did the Shield

A notorious outlaw motorcycle club (MC) fight to protect their livelihood while ensuring that their simple, sheltered town of Charming, California, remains exactly that: charming.

The MC must confront threats from drug dealers, corporate developers and overzealous law officers. Behind the MC’s familial lifestyle and legally thriving automotive shop is a ruthless, thriving illegal arms business.

Charlie Hunnam stars as Jackson ‘Jax’ Teller, a man whose love for the brotherhood will eventually be tested by his growing apprehension for its lawlessness.

Yep, just checked. Bravo 10pm

BBC3 tonight. Or BBC4. Probably BBC3. One of those two.

Flight of the Concords was made by the same people who did The Shield? Now that's a diverse portfolio!

ok, so it wasn't the best first episode of a series in the world and the lead guy is that irritating tit with the crap cockney accent from green street but i'll give it another go.

It was terrible, but then he's actually from Newcastle, so why did they cast him in that role?

Because Americans are incapable of recognising any English accents other than "Queen" and "Van Dyke".

I know some excellent and highly intelligent Americans who couldn't even tell the difference between Resistance's awful Cockney soldiers and some clips I sent of what they SHOULD have sounded like, as they were from Hull, Manchester and Yorkshire. Simply odd, given the brilliant variety of accents Americans show. Louisiana is one of my favourites.
