Still a pretty long way to go.

They're going to have to come up with another ratings winner then, since Big Brother has been subsidising much of the rest of Channel Four's output for the past ten years.

(Of course they wouldn't need to if they'd left the pre-1992 funding model in place.)

New series? Later this month? Wow.. It seems like only two minutes since I avoided the last series!

This isn't a move designed to make cunts start watching it again "while they still can" at all. I bet.

It'll get a temporary bump, as people will check back to see what they are losing, to remember when they slightly gave a toss. Then it'll die on it's arse. Reality tV is no different to any other threand and many are acting as if it is the whole future. It'll die off like prime time sci-fi on terrestrial did and come back like that did as well. Ebb and flow. Props though, it was a quite interesting novelty at first, then there was some fucking drama. I was toking late once when the Victor and Scottish bloke vs. shouty chav girls knife-fight was on, I'll take that hilarity to my grave. Also there's been about four connections to BB through work, one degree of separation each, and the same again with a relative who knew another contestant. And once when I was in my late teens I think it was I had a wank whilst watching God's Gift. Also, I used to watch evictions with my neighbour, then we'd get wasted and have it off. Most nights I'd stick the live feed on and fall asleep listening to the mongs and the ambient censorzak like the deranged machinations of a suicidally depressed KLF. And the likes of Marco, was it? Taught the generation to follow that camp is reprehensible and evil in anything but very small doses.

All in all, I'll probably miss is, although I haven't watched it for a few years now.
