Next election, we have a competition... those who want to be a mod register. Now, let's say we need three mods - at a preassigned date and time, each prospective mod does their bloody utmost to get banned from the site... anything goes, including irl activities like stalking a forumite or shitting on someone's cunt, photographing it and posting it to the forum on a thread entitled "GTA 5 - first pics released!". The best three win, and are the new mods.
You know, like how the FBI give hackers jobs as computer security consultants. Know thine enemy, and that. My belief is that anyone who can win a competition like this is more than a match for any troll, multi-account numpty or veiled BNP sympathiser.
This is going to definitely work.
