So, it's more or less the weekend, and the weather appears to still be rather lovely.

What are you getting up to?

Today - Working until 5, then scurrying home. Might have a quick go at CoD4 to relax, before throwing on my headphones and writing for roughly six - eight hours (though a good portion of this time will be spent bimbling about on the interweb as I am a terrible procrastinator).

Tomorrow - Having a nice lie-in as I'll get to bed late on Friday. I have planned to meet some friends in Greenwich Park at 3pm for a lovely picnic. I assume there will be foods and drinks and frisbee. This will be fun.

Sunday - Another lie-in, followed by dragging my probably hungover) body across to Oval, to spend the day further abusing my liver and watching Surrey vs Essex in the background.

All is, of course, subject to change.

So, what about you, eh?

I've got some more gardening to do, then I'll be going to Wakehurst Place on Sunday.

I am exciting.

Tonight I will probably try to finish off the last few bits of tricky painting in the kitchen, tomorrow I will probably go out to source some more architrave and then spend the rest of it hanging a door and drilling wood into a frame. Sunday, more of the same, no doubt.

Might murder myself with grass pollen by cutting the grass, and then spraying weedkiller. Life is very, very exciting.

I have the house to myself tonight so I expect it will be a GTA-fest until the wee hours. Then I'm going out for a meal with my secondment workmates tomorrow evening.

Sunday will be spent nursing a hangover, most probably.

I'm having the first 'Console' weekend I've been able to hold for around three years, so it will be a housefull of drunks trying to kill as many innocents as possible before being gunned down by the pigs...we may then play some GTAIV.

My Eldest has a friend over tonight and Saturday. My Girlfriend is working nights tonight and sunday night. I am on call.

I have no idea what the weather is supposed to be like as for the last 3 days the BBC site has said it will rain heavy. But Wednesday and (to a lesser extent) Thursday were really hot Now the BBC has a big sun on their front page for Saturday's weather, but cloud/rain/sun for their 5 day forecast.

They are really don't have a clue at all do they?

I think forecasts were more accurate 20 years ago than now.

I'm off to see Iron Man do the ironing, and then it's a bit of writing and a bit of LotR:O'ing tonight or maybe TF2 and an episode of The Lost Room.

Tomorrow I'm working bah. In the evening I'll mosey on to Bute Park and laze with some friends under a tree. Sunday I'm very poor, as I don't get paid until Thursday, so I'll do the writing/reading/TF2/LotR:O'ing, watch Doc Who on Iplayer and look eagerly to Thursday.

Er... *runs* Yes. Well, everyone except for Goatboy, who is either charmingly unable to read between the lies, or obviously a cop. YES YOU READ THAT RIGHT GOATBOY.

And yes, it is a permanent weekend at my house, I work from home a lot. In fact, I'm going to rub one out right now.

I'm going paintballing tomorrow with work (plus lady friend).

I'm going to be just like Rambo.

But I've no idea what to wear for running around shooting people. Which isn't a problem typically faced by Rambo...

Future Mrs Chinny used to live there. Chinnytrufax.

I was down in East Sussex yesterday. Managed to grab 20 minutes between meetings so went up Beachy Head and had my lunch in the car park up there. I did not throw myself off the cliff.

I dunno what I'll be doing, probably sticking a spring on a motorbike, and then applying for jobs. I might try and shoe horn 'sit in the sun and get turbo-cunted' in there somehow.

I need to stick a spring on mine, too. My mechanic said "Did you know your shock is shot? It's like a pogo stick."

I just can't be arsed forking out the £150+ for one, and I refuse to go 2nd-hand.

Mines only a little spring, about 3 inches. So that was £1.25 per inch.

Last time I went paintballing I got shot inbetween the legs about 3cms away from the crown jewels. Very painful. I also got shot in the top of my head as I was lying down on the muddy floor. That was also very painful

When was the last time you got to lie down on a muddy floor in a forest and not have to worry about cleaning your clothes? It doesn't happen very often so I took full advantage of it! I did enjoy it!

This weekend I will be looking at fitting my kitchen... not actually fitting it, just looking at it.

The beer delivery man came today, so...

Actually, I want to get a piece of artwork underway that I have spent about 5 days thinking about, and it's only tiny, but I think I have it planned now.

Then I will drink some coconut beer.

5pm - Leave work and go to the boss's house to have some drinks on his new patio. After that, it's home to sort out the porch and living room ready for...

<11am Saturday - ...new sofa arriving. Old sofa not getting taken away by council until Wednesday, so we've got a bit of a problem there. Even more of a problem if the salesman lied and they don't bolt on the arms of the new one when it arrives. Because then it won't fit.

>11am Saturday - GTA and TV.

Sunday - GTA and TV.

Today is going to be general tydying and cleaning and getting the mess up from the work going on in my front garden. Tonight hot bath and telly/360.

Tomorrow - I'm at Hanley Museum all day helping out with a forensic science day, we did on last year at it was ace, had >800 people through the door. This year it's on a much bigger scale and we're expectig >1000 people. Then shopping.

Sunday - I've got a shed load of stuff to put on ebay, so that will probably take most of the day.

This happened to me once. I just dumped the three piece suite out into the front garden and left it there. Worked for me, somewhat less so for the neighbours.

When we had our sofa delivered I had to help bring it in (why would you send 1 man to move a 4 seater sofa?) we had to come in the front door, out the back door, in the other back door, and then into the living room.

And it was raining (good job it had a cover I suppose!)

Cleaver me thinks signing up for a course at work means I'll get away on Wednesday for a few weeks and stop the brain screams for a while. Turns out I've got to do a 20 minute presentation next week and I'm gonna have to spend all this weekend preparing for the bastard thing! arrgh. Also I will be doing more work on my (endless) MA dissertation. arrgh. Sunday night going to metul gig though. :metul:

I'm working today and tomorrow (and had to get up at 4:45am this morning, thanks to the Victoria Line being bollocksed all weekend). I'm off on Monday, Tuesday and Friday though.

Thus far this weekend I have:

- Been to the gym
- Done my laundry
- Cleaned to kitchen
- Mowed and strimmed the lawn
- Hung the washing out to dry.

The excitement in my life never ends.
