Misery Depot was available for the comic viewer on my phone, so I read it on my way to work this morning. It's only 100 or so panels long, so it's a five-minute read either as a PDF, or online.

NSFW WARNING: The main character spends the first half of the story naked. You don't see any rude bits, but it's clear that she's naked. Mind you, if it's cool to read comics at work, then there is nothing offensive involved.

I read and enjoyed it.

Although I would have liked to have seen it going on for longer. What happened to the old guy? How does such a place come to exist?

It seemed like a two page short story turned into a comic, and I was expecting... something more.

I was a bit confused at how she got home - she seemed to hunker down in an alleyway for the night and they she was just... there. I thought she was dreaming about the meeting until the end.
I think there are going to be more stories about the "asylum".

I enjoyed it enough to pay the 99cents for the "better" G1 version (although I confess I can't tell the difference). Big kudos to people who do this sort of stuff for free, though.
