Morning. A nice morning. Nice for a day at the beach.

The first person you notice missing is Craster. Oh no wait, there he is. He was just stood behind Superdupergill.

The next thing you notice is Joans, hanging from the shower block covered in webbing. He's alive, but looks about as nervous as Craster does smug.

So who isn't there? Aha, it's Rodafowa. Scurrying to his house (and leaving Joans where he is for the moment) you shoulder-charge the door to be confronted with a familiar scene. Rodafowa. A mains cable in one ear. A HDMI cable in the other. A network cable up his nose. In his mouth is a copy of Call of Duty 4, and the word "LAAAAAAAAAG" is written on the wall in blood. All around the house are speakers, wires and car head units - Rodafowa, or Joe Simon as his telephone bill calls him, was a Townie Car-Stereo Engineer.

There's some more nasty ectoplasm outside the house. Following the trail, you soon come across a sad sight. A beaten, broken wreck of a body, covered in so much blood it looks like he's wearing a red suit. Wait a minute - he is wearing a red suit! Dead at your feet is your friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man, AKA Peter Parker, AKA Doctor Glyndwr.

It's a sad sight, but here's a better one to cheer you up - a bunch of scantily clad ladies running around and cheering. Intrigued, you go to join in the celebrations. It turns out that these lovely women are all prostitutes, but their pimp is dead! Roy Thomas, they say his name is. You rush to Roy's house, but you don't have to break in - he's lying on the street, a round burn-mark in his clothes. You recognise him straight away - Mr Russell the Townie Pimp.

Time to get to the beach. You cut Joans down, but it takes so long that the weather turns bad. As soon as Joans opens his mouth to speak, it starts to rain.

This day ends at 5pm tomorrow (Friday). I know that's a bank holiday - I may extend the deadline if no-one is online (but not if you just can't decide what to do). Night 3 will not end until Tuesday.

Unless Venom changed targets after finding out Runcle's innocence, we must kill Joans.

So why is Craster looking so smug?

We were expecting him to be dead.

We wanted Venom to target Craster, and Spiderman to string up Joans.

Craster is unharmed (as venom can't touch him). So Joans, for whatever reason was claiming to be Iron Man (even though he wasn't under threat at the time).

So he must be a baddie who gambled on getting Craster lynched. Either that or he's a secret loony role who has to pretend to be iron man. In that case he may actually also be a townie.

But on balance I think we should lynch him.

Nonono. Venom does exist, the plan was a good one. Joans has to be an imposter in any case otherwise spidey wouldn't have been able to string him up.

There are too many unknowns to guarantee this was the case... and I'd like to understand things before we rush this day. All I'm after is an explanation of yesterday, because after the event it's quite confusung.

To be honest I reckon he really believes he's Iron Man, like a delusion, but isn't a baddie. Otherwise he'd have confessed by now.

However, I doubt that idea will get much traction

Craster roleclaimed as Iron Man, and said that RUncle wasn't a goodie that he knew of, so we should lynch him.

Joans counter-claimed as Iron Man, but has been proved to be lying as Spiderman webbed him.

We now lynch Joans.

You let him pull this shit all through the close of yesterday, and came up with a plan to prove who was really Iron Man. That plan worked out fine (although it's a little annoying that after Runcle was proved to be a bad guy like I said, Venom still targetted me instead of Joans). I am Iron Man. Let's kill Joans.

I knew who the Doctor was.

For anyone coming in late, it has been conclusively proved that Joans is not Iron Man, a role he claimed yesterday.

Therefore he's by far and away the best lynch target.

Yeah, I've read through the roles again and nothing stands out other than the hidden roles. But we could be second guessing them forever. Also we have no way of knowing if they are good or bad ones.

Dude, this is what scares me and this is why I was so dubious yesterday - you should have had *no way* of knowing for sure that Runcle was a badguy.

It was lucky that he was, but if venom had switched to Joans instead we'd be arguing about what happened all day. And it's complicated enough as it is.

I have come to the conclusion that this place is FULL of lying, double-crossing scumbags!

The only thing we gain by waiting is if Deadpool wants to role reveal and tell us something that might be useful.

I don't think we should rush into this too quickly.

There are options to consider about whether to lynch joans or get someone to do him at night. And shutting down discussion early is not a good idea for the town, in general.

First thing in the morning, have all my illusions of understanding blown to the four winds...

I've been trying to think of alternatives, such as Venom got roleblocked, but it still wouldn't explain the web of lies that has caught you ouy...
