Amazon are starting to offer XBLA stuff for sale. You buy it on amazon like anything else. They give you a code. You type it in on you EggBox to get the game.

Which means you don't have to buy a fictional version of money first! No left over points!

Possible Stumbling Blocks:

• If they don't bring it to the uk.
• If they decide to make stuff cost more.

Lookin at the American prices buying a 4000 point card is $49.99, making an 800 point game $10. And 800 point games are being sold directly for $10. No more 200 point left over nonsense please, please, please.

Apparently, WiiWare and PSN shops are also coming to amazon....

If they are sold at the same price, I wonder if this'll mean an even smaller cut of the profits for the developer. I can't see Microsoft giving up profit for Amazon to take their cut.

I hate paying for things in points. I always tend to shrug away the cost of things as I tend to accumulate the points before the purchase, and by that time it isn't and never was money.

I'm fairly sure XBLAH codes are region locked. The Live access codes are.

If they are the same as review codes, I don't think they are. I have gotten a review codes from USA/Japanese publishers, and they've worked fine, even though I haven't specified I was from/in the UK.

I might just take a gamble with Doom, since it is $3, which is only like £50
