There's a dull roaring... that I can't hear

It's pulling at my mind and filling my thoughts. Although I can't hear it, I know it's there, waiting for me, perched on a shelf, or round a corner. My eyes are focussed but they see nothing. My fingers dance on keys and then tap-tap-tap the backspace. Try again Dave. Methodologies, testing schedules and conclusion swirl and twist, escaping my grasp and laughing as I stumble around them. The silence is painful. I whistle but it's harsh and loud. The empty chairs and dark computers slumber in their easter rest. My head slumps to the desk and lands with a thud.

Fuck it. I'm off to the pub.

I WILL BE HAPPY in one month when I have finished my degree. Fuck the first, fuck 2:1, I'd take third right now if I could just skip to the end.

Gaming Technology and IT (dual major)

Of course in my case 'gaming' means 3D modelling almost exclusively

Awesome, so when you are applying for jobs could you land yourself a job working for someone like Lionhead or Rockstar North or something? There was a feature on Xbox live about getting jobs in the gaming industry recently. I was jealous.

Hopefully. I'm a little bit older than the kids who'll be applying at those places. I reckon my skills are better suited to architectural modelling anyway.
