Seems like a setup to me. Like those people who used to appear on That's Life with a horse living in their house. After all the mother admits she wants to get him on the TV.

Or is it? Or is it? Or is it?

I wonder if he fancies a copy of Ikaruga for the Gamecube.

There's a new one you don't know about. It's made of Dominic Diamond's tears, frozen and made into crystal.

Is Dominik Diamond still on the go? He must be quite old and grumpy by now, surely?

Are you thinking of the right Scottish Games Journalist?

Last I saw of Dom, he was doing a late night games review show with a glove puppet.

Or did I imagine that?

Does Diamond also require the advent of widescreen TV to make a comeback?

We met him at T in the Park a few years ago, he was a friendly sort & quick witted even while pished.

Oh aye, and I think he does a radio show on Clyde FM or XFM Glesga or something like that now.

Can't be true. £52,100 (Mum's spend on him last year) is more than the GDP of Wales. So it must be a setup.

I can't believe that so little has happened in the news in the past few days that they can devote so much time to writing that one article.

"Spoilt" is relative, though. I personally consider anyone who has a car bought for them (and I include "loans" from parents in that) to be spoilt. I was told that if I wanted a car, I could go out, get a job, and buy one. Which I did (£300 for an Austin Maestro, baby!), and intend to make the Grimlet do the same thing.

My mum has a friend with a son like that. He earns vastly more than her (I think he's on about £35k), and gives her a tenner a week if she's lucky, and often that's in coupons for supermarkets. His father is past his retirement age, and still working very long shifts to keep the family going.

He is a cunt of the highest order, and deserves a damn good kicking. And she's too soft to do anything about it.

He sounds like a cunt, but, in fairness, they could solve the problem fairly quickly if they wanted to.

Micky Quinn once bought me a Cappuccino in a travel tavern. Chinnytrufax! Much to my amusement he was in a shell suit, thereby ensuring that he conformed to all known stereotypes. I did not see his pie.
