I was listening to Today on the way in to work this morning and Nick Robinson was interviewing Gordon Brown about "The Global Ecomonic Crisis" TM and EL Gordo said that they would "do what is necessary" to which Robinson responded something like "that's a nothing statement though -you are hardly likely to say we won't do what is necessary" at which point I flew off into a flight of fancy about what Robinson could have thrown at him about what might be necessary.

So I arrived at the following proposition - we need to make sure there's enough money for everyone to buy Crisps, Games and Bacon. There's no more money, no means of creating any more and the Earth's resources are at breaking point. Therefore lets offload a load of the population - who can we afford to lose? If it came to it who would we not miss if they all just vanished or got fed into a large Soylent mincer?

Two obvious ones spring to mind - Daily Mail / Express readers and Derek Acorah.

1) Yes I am worse than Hiltler
2) Any more?

We can solve the pensions crisis by having a nice cold winter.

Maybe you could have some extreme lottery where everyone was forced to enter. Those who win, get some cash, those who lose have their body parts sold off.

The Running Man TV Gameshow.
It wouldn't get through all that many people itself, but it would be in keeping with the overall theme.
