Yep. The Women's Cricket team won the world cup. What, you hadn't heard? That doesn't surprise me. Why is women's sport so often ignored?

I heard that. Admittedly as an aside on the proper (mens) cricket, but I heard it I did.

I don't think it is really, women's cricket probably gets more coverage than many male dominated sports which have far more participants.

I read this on BBC News. I'm glad some of our cricketers are actually quite good. I also expect that this is the reason it gets more coverage than any other female sport. That and the swimmers.
