I thought the official Xbox 360 VGA cable came with phono to 3.5mm adapter and stuff but I can't find pictures.

Does it?

Mine did.
Phono - 3.5mm adapter and the gender switching vga socket.

Cool, the pictures online all just show a cable.

Anyone bought one quite recently just in case they've changed it?

If it helps, I bought one just four weeks ago and both adapters were still included. That was in Germany, mind, but I can't think of any reason why the UK ones should be any different.

Sorry for the late reply, but I've just had chance to check. Mine does indeed come with a phono->3.5mm adapter etc.
