Did you know that were something like at least six different Poing!s on the Amiga?

I prefer the simple graphics of the first.

Was Poing the one where you played horizontally and had to break through each level, falling back to the previous level if you missed the ball?

There was a Poing! 7 which I've not seen anywhere, and Paul van der Voik (?) sent me it after I sent him a letter praising his work on Poing! 5.

Here's Poing! PC, although it has no in-game music which is very disappointing given that was one of the selling points of the Amiga version.

I had the Amiga version and the music was ace, it was sort of a random Chiptune, break beat electro that totally fitted the action perfectly.

Each room in the level sequence had its own randomy tune. The sounds were all cool; the whole game acted as if it were a pinball table, complete with ringing blublublub whenever you hit all of a reappearing colour set, and SUPER HYPER PANIC tone when the ball was careening down the rooms you'd already escaped from.
