The Government wants to ban something, and they've narrowed it down to one of 2 things, they either want to ban "burgers" or "the world wide web".

Which one do you think they should ban?

Burgers.

As long as I still have falafel, sausages and bacon, I'd be fine.

WWW. A life without burgers would be a life not worth living.

If burgers were banned, we'd be denying ourselves the foodstuff of the gods. The web? Meh, someone else would've invented something similar eventually.

What about eggs vs www, Malc?

As long as you can still buy steak i'd survive without burgers. Plus it would mean the end of McDonalds which could only be a good thing.
But no www would mean no XBL...*gasp*

I like lots of food. There is nothing comparable to the www. Imaging having to use purely gopher, usenet, telnet and ftp to get information...

I love burgers, but I'm not constantly on them.

So they would go.

I went four years without eating beef before (from 1996, after the big BSE scare, to 2000 when I visited the US of A, and assumed they had safe beef there) but haven't been without the WWW for thirteen years. So I'd have to pick banning burgers. Sorry, man - but hey, think of all the rain forests you'd save!

Hmm, I feel this poll is skewed by being on the internet. I'm going to go and take one in Gourmet Burger Kitchen and see what the results are in there.

Stay tuned.
