Noby Noby Boy. From the creator of Katamari. On PSN now. £3.19.

Here is a video of me playing it for the first time.

That's a bit silly.

There's not really any point, as such.

But you can upload your Boy's length to Girl. And everyone's lengths are added together and when Girl is long enough new planets get opened for all players.

Um, no. You don't grow by eating, you don't die if you hit yourself, there aren't any levels or objectives as such. In fact, I'm struggling to see any real similarities.

It's not even a game, really. Just a playground. But it's a good one.

Kick ass, will enjoy this when I get a PS3 second-hand in about four years.

I really want to like this, being a colossal fan of Katamari Damacy, but it's just a bit... pointless...

It felt like an Alpha Test of game in development to me.

Still £3.19 is a hardly a lot of money and I suspect I wasn't in the right frame of mind for playing it last night.

It's just a toy. Think of as, I dunno, a Rubik Snake on your PS3.

It's not something to spend five hours a day on for two weeks, but I'll probably fire it up for a few minutes every so often.

Indeed, I want to buy it, but I can't justify it due to lack of goals or anything like that. Without that, I can't see me loading it up much, and I'd rather have the beer money.

That is me. The game generates an avatar for you, which seems to change when you upload a new score. Not sure about that dress myself.

And, yes, the video is only three seconds long.

Yes! you can give piggybacks to dogs. After watching a few vids of this on YouTube, I've decided this is probably the first thing I'd get a PS3 for along with Disgaea 3.

Question. Does it work like Katamari, where the bigger you are the larger the items you can swallow up. Or are there some things you cannot eat.
