Is like watching paint dry.

I'm having a PC delivered today (well I hope I am) and the best the tracking can do is say "out for delivery, using Saturn" whatever the fuck that means.

Maybe it's some kind of sat nav.. Any way, the thing is supposed to be here by 3, so that leaves less than an hour. And from bad experiences that usually means it's not going to get here and there's a problem. BAH.

What sucks is Nemmie got his parcel today, the bastard, and will no doubt rub it right in later if mine doesn't arrive (which would be karma seeing as I've been boasting all week about how happy I am with my new purchase). :DD

Gargh, I hate waiting. Sucks ass. :nerd:

What makes it more annoying of course is that two of the expected three parcels have arrived, one of them being an SLI bridge strap for a computer I don't have.

Bummer :(

I once waited an entire day for a courier to deliver an arial. They just couldn't stick to their specified times. It's not even like I was hidden, I spent all day on the verdana keeping an eye out for the van. After three days I went absolutely dingbats and drove down to their office with a trebuchet.

At least you had someone close by to console you.

Indeed. If I'd had a terminal illness I might have died before they got there. Perhaps that would have had enough of an impact on the driver to shake him out of his lackadaisical attitude to delivery.

I just noticed this. Why would I rub your face in the fact that my graphics card has more processing power than your whole green pile of alien poo? hmm

Not in my nature to do stuff like that. ;)

Also what they said, join twitter it was made for you :)

Because someone will come along with two cards more powerful ;)

Talking of couriers, I used the rather excellent Shiply to send some stuff yesterday - basically you say where you want the stuff to go, and companies with trucks going that way bid for your custom in a reverse auction. It worked great - my stuff was picked up at 8am this morning and will be delivered later today, and for £20 less than Parcelforce etc. wanted.

That sounds excellent! I wonder if the coverage is good. Cheers for the link!

Ahh but it is two cards on one card - 4870 x 2 2x2gb memory :). I was tired of struggling to run Quakelive fullscreen and I think I may have gone overboard.

On the plus side I might be able to play Crysis now, ermm if that is a plus side :S
