I've phoned 118 118 a few times, mostly when I'm out and about and want the phone number of something in a hurry. They then text the number to me, and I can then "use number" from that text. Don't even need a pen/paper!

One.Tel offer 118 111 for free if you register with them for cheap international calls and stuff. Or at least they used to.

I usually use the internet for phone number searches if I have to.

sometimes i'm lazy and call it with my workj phone, but now the dutch phonebook has a nice iphone site, think that's last of it.. it was always a quiet cheap service here, but they gave it to the free market 2 years ago and they all now want 1,50 euro orso per conversation
