Meems, can I come round your house and be nice to you one day? Perhaps bake you a lemon curd cake?

Blame Malc. I think he's lost the plot.

Shouldn't we be playing the Lancashire Poacher before reading out the numbers?

Maybe Malc is a spy and he's using the forum as a number station.

Edit: I've just noticed Kern is thinking on my wavelength.

There is a code. Anyone who works it out may get a reward.

The only reward I want is for you to stop making those threads.

The problem with including "pot noodle" as poll option is that the type of person who starts a hilarious thread about a number is the type of person who would vote for this option as well.

Personally, I think the number threads are fucking stupid and should've been nipped in the bud after the second one was posted. You wouldn't get this on WoS!

Well, there have been 25 votes, only 2 for interesting and/or informative. Cannot there be just one number thread with updates, perhaps? There are five in the top half of the front page, and it just means that anything interesting falls off of the front page quicker.

Aye, it's bollocks. Signal to noise ratio etc. If two bits and bobs threads are made at the same time, one is immediately deleted, but these stupid things are just left to take up space.

Right, done. Just remember Jonny that we get shouted at for any kind of moderation on here, so you can see why we're reluctant to do anything until we get complaints.

So you're asking for heavy handed moderation, then? ;)

EDIT - note to self - take myp off "ignore".

Hey, I've never shouted at anyone for moderating. If you're worried about upsetting people, perhaps you should relinquish your power, otherwise what are you here for? That's not to say you're not doing a good job, but isn't it about time you stopped going on about getting shouted at and stuff? That was weeks ago, man.

I never said you did, sir. It's just easier in the current climate to wait for normal users to pipe up about stuff, rather than the BeeX Mafia imposing their will upon the peons.

-edit- Perhaps now that the vocal minority have moved onto pastures new, we can get back to moderating this forum in a more sensible manner. It'll take time to readjust, however, as we've become used to not doing anything at all for fear of repercussions.

Their vocal minority has guns, tanks and fighter planes though, and aren't going anywhere.
