Also if you rember the fun little program Algomusic on the Amiga which generated 'house' tunes (such as Follow the Funky Policeman), you'll find this fun.

Made by my friend Duncan, using Blitz 3D I think. Not that there's anything 3D about this. It just so happens that's all he's got to program with other than Dark Basic.

It's probably not quite as good as Brian Eno's fractal music but still.. good fun.

Ooh! Algomusic, there's a blast from the past.

Anyway, that's excellent. And your mate is excellent. Star Bars are excellent too, but less relevant.

EDIT: Entering "Noseybonk returns" with that exact capitalisation gives a suitably eerie theme.

Zardoz >>>>>> Dimrill > Stuart Campbell > BEEX > CUS > BETEO > WoS

Fucking hell. Bits of Zardoz sound like they could be used for a montage of him doin' illustration' (set to moody piano and organ). Zardoz also has really fat bass.

"Zardoz" creates the most enjoyable piece of music, using the tool by Nirejhenge's mate, that I have heard so far. Much more so than the others I bothered trying (and some just sounded too similar for me to bother continuing trying/ranking).

I'd be very interested to see this software's taken. Suggestion: smoother transitions between patterns, somehow.

There's interesting stuff possibly coming. Like outputting note sequences to a text file or such like. He said if he knew how to write .mod he'd output to that but he doesn't. You can always add any suggestions to the wiki page it's on.

It's the second one I've seen today. The other was in the thread taking advantage of chinny's uncle's cat's death.

I've taken to clicking the report button.
