Jingle was not playing ball with me. I forgot to buy face accessories, so I changed clothes and stopped looking like my Mii, but he still said I looked the same. Stupid reindeer. :(

I used my lovely Monkey and "Ugly Xmas" Mimpatterns to make stylish hats. Manged to get 5 pieces out of him.

I was trying to look at the dirty books in NookAway, but Mimi walked in and in my shameful hurry I bought an axe.

Once I get back to civilisation, I'll try to send you some, Mimi. Might take a few days though.

Still trying to get my controller back of the nephews. They're off to their biological mother's tomorrow, so should be able to go and nab it back then.

I can't get near the TV because three different family members have it in constant usage for Fable II.

Admittedly, I'm one of them.

Hello everyone! I have come out of forum hibernation to try and get some people to visit my town. The details are:

Name - Fargo
Town - P Free
Fruit - Peaches
Code - 0860-7551-2035

I will add everyone on here, but I've only just finished my part time Nook work so apologies if it's rubbish.

We bought this for step-daughter for Christmas, so it's actually downstairs in my living room with a Wii Speak wired in and everything. I fear to turn it on though.

I finished paying my final mortgage off last night and Nook's erected a free flag outside my house this morning. I have just swapped the design for Monkey's face.

I shall add the new folk shortly. This week, I have been mostly letting the town be open, or travelling out between seven and nine. I may leave gates open overnight, experimentally at some point. Hmm.

I will open my gates tomorrow. i have added you, MarkH, but it takes a few hours to connect. I have oranges, pears, coconuts, cherries and apples, so you may fill your pockets with fruit if you are around. I'll try and pop on tomorrow afternoon/early evening, if anybody is around

OK, so I hope to come and visit another town today as I have never really had much chance to explaore other towns.
Arriving in the post today was the Animal Crossing game guide (so shoot me) s if anyone wants any info looking up or wants to know how or when to achieve something, ask Auntie Mimi, and I will merrily answer.

Right, i'm going out shortly, but i have left my gates open and they will be all night! My town's a bit basic at the moment but if it's of any interest theres a couple of spare fossils laying around and a ton of pears. Don't trash the place too much!

You can go go the town hall and say you have a problem with one of your residents and they will 'encourage' the resident to move out and be replaced by another resident, I believe.

Also, i have a shop upgrade!

I tried to visit people's towns yesterday but couldn't get out of my gate as it said it coldn't connect :( Seems to be working fine today though.

I have a word of warning regarding the shop upgrades, but it is a masive spoiler, but I think it might also tick some people off if it happens and they have no pre-warning:

ZOMG Spoiler! Click here to view!
After you recieve the final upgrade to Nookingtons, a couple of weeks pass and Nook asks you what yu think of teh new shop and what you value or would liek to change in the store. If you reply that you'd liek longer opening hours, it reverts back to Nook n' Go, and will revert back to Nook's cranny or Nookway if you give other answers which I can't remember as I was reading it late last night. I'll find what it says again and clear this up later, but thought I'd let you know as once yo revert to a smaller shop it seems that there is no way back to the larger store.

Mine is Nookingtons now, and again I'm getting irritated by those sodding child spawn things upstairs.

I have added your code already Mimi, and a few others as you can see. LMK (PM on this thread) if anyone else adds my code and I'll return the favour! (Unfortunately, my girlfriend's resisting urge to play this game, so no friend code for her yet. For now, anyway.)

Has anyone else had one of their animals lock themselves out yet? My village's Winnie the horse did this evening. I had to fish the key out of the river for her. My reward was a paltry 600 bells.

Yep, three times so far. No cash, just two rolls of wallpaper and a carpet for my efforts!

I will add all the new people sometime tomorrow. Brain is still stuck in 'lazy holiday mode'. :p

Mimi, does your guide say whether silver tools hold any advantage over regular ones?

EDIT: Oh no, I remember now, you sent me a code via the Wii. My head is full of empty.
