I am usually on in the early evening, Sinestro (about 6 - 8ish). I usually ask Booker if anyone is around and if not I open up my gate.

I have Nook upgrading his shop today, also, hopefully Axes will be available soon. I should have a pear available today, mrak, and a cherry on it's way in two more days.

Will try to catch you at those times, Meems*. I'm still in need of some non-orangey fruit (and, of course, a Monkey t-shirt!)

*can I call you Meems?

I look forward to it, Sinestro - I have new fashion items in the shop now - a Christmas jumper included!

OK - so today is the first day that you can display items in the auction house.

Bewae that you can only display ONE item per person, and you can set a reserve price.

The fishing tourney is underway, and I have won a few items of furniture - you get a little prize for each fish that breaks the current record, and teh ultimate winner at 6pm wins a trophy.

I constructed a perfect snowman yesterday and got a great snowman dresser, I have also made a perfect snowman today :)

Nook and Go is open in my town, so I now have a slingshot - Hopefully an axe will be available tomorrow.

I found Resetti's secret lair last night and he gave me a silver shovel - does anyone know the benefits of this beyong the aesthetic? Are there any?

I have a lost kitten in my town who needs to go back to Neasden. Let me know when your gates will be open, Mimi, and one of us will bring her back.

I have to go and do boring shopping (bread, milk, loo roll and the like) but my gates are open in case you (or anyone else) happens to be on and wants to pop by. I have just met the mother - she is a mustardy-yellow cat.

By the way, anyone posting a letter from my post ofice has been promised good luck with gyroid-digging. I don't like gyroids, but they sell for a decent amount - I am wearing my new Christmas jumper and there are some new designs in Able Sisters shop :)

Cheers, Rev! I hope you like your Christmassy garb! Just like Nana used to make.

The gates are still open in case anone is around, though Craig has the match on at the moment, so I am there but inert.

I've ordered it, without the Wii Speak, mind. The missus will probably play it more than me though.

:luv: Dimrill and Mrs Dimrill.

Thanks for all of the diggables outsde teh gate, Rev - I have put them in my house! I caught a 44.5" fish and I caught my first lobster which I dutifully donated to Blathers.

I have made some snowy ground floring for my home and now have a wintery theme going of which I shall take a snap of later. The snowman gave me a life size snowman for my house as well!

Ha anyone else listed any items in the auction house, yet? I am looking forward to bidding in the first auction :DD

Poop! Sorry Meems, I've been in Sheffield all day. :'( I should be around tomorrow (8.30pm onwards), barring any incidents. Great pictures, by the way. The Northern Lights look so, so pretty and your snow theme is most excellent. Also love that picture of Monkey in the corner of the room!

Not sure if the silver shovel has any benefits, other than being extra shiny. I've stored it away for now and am using the golden version. Glad you found the surveillance center! There's an unconfirmed rumour going around that, if you get back in there, you may find Resetti's brother (Don) in his place.

Double poop - I've completely missed the fishing tournement! Gah. :'(

OK, Sinestro, I shall have a look around for you tonight, I'll check to see if your gate is open, and if it is not I shal open the gate to my town in case you pop on later.

Today Joan is in town, turnip trading. I have made my third perfect snowman in a row (woo!) and am about to head into town. I think tday is teh second and last day to list items in the auction house.

ARGHHHHH! Okay, so I managed to get on earlier than expected, went to open the gates... and it wouldn't connect. Four times. Gave up, asked Copper to let me out... and the same thing happened. Gave up, went about my business for an hour, came back, tried again and the gates opened... for about five minutes, before the game crashed out with an error message! Argh. >:(

Just been checking some AC boards and it seems like I'm not the only one with the problem, so hopefully it'll all be fixed tomorrow. If so, I'll be on from 6pm onwards if anyone wants to stop by. :)

In other news, Brewster has started storing Gyroids for me! I tend to sell 'em off, so it's a bit of a pointless feature really!

Hi guys.

Sorry I wasn't able to take part fully yesterday. We were working until gone 11 and then I just wanted to sleep, but it was nice to see you all there. One day I will get rid of my shyness to the degree that I will actually put Wii Speak on. Soon :)

Here are some photos from yesterdays play date:

And here's one from this morning - there is a guy giving away balloons, pinwheels, bunny ballons and BUBBLE WANDS.

You can choose yourself a 'prize', just for being great.

If you could interact between the DS version and the Wii version, I'd probably dust off my DS again.

I have done this, now. If Mrs Dimrill creates a character she will (stupidly) have her own code, I believe.

First gripe! Hell's Bells has just started the game as herself and now finds that all the tools are still out of stock from when I bought them earlier. Thus, she can't do much in town at the moment.

Well, that's just the way shops work, Dimrill. If you go and buy the last copy of the latest Westlife CD and then Sinestro goes into HMV later and wants the same item, it'd be out of stock.

It'd be false if it were any other way...

Yeah, but I feel all guilty and stuff cos all she's doing now is shaking trees for pennies. He could at least keep a stock of 2 in case the other chap or chapette in the game needs one of that tool. Just for the tools.

Man Nook is a layabout in this version. The sod closes at 10pm instead of 11?! Pershaw! I am full of fish and unable to disgorge them.

The controls are sublime.

I'm using the excellent All Is Crossing website to track my fishy conquests. It excellently gives you an option to filter for month, so you can make sure you've caught everything before the year progresses.

Dimrill, I have bought you a perfect litle Animal crosing present. I am busy again today, but I have opened my town gate in case you can pop by any time. As I might be away from the game I have buried the item just outside my house. Take oranges/coconuts/cherries if you would like some. There may be tools you or MrS Dimrill don't have at Nooks, also if you happen to be around. Same for anyone else who wants fruit.

Has anyone got an insect net in any of their Nooks today? These dratted pill bugs keep popping out of the rocks and I have no way of catching them

Haven't checked yet, but my gates are normally open from about six to six thirty or seven (very ish) if you want to pop round.
