Except, y'kna, flu is a lot more life threatening. If you can get out of bed, it's not flu.

You're right, I have been lucky and never had proper-flu. My dad did have pneumonia and pleurisy at the same time and nearly died though.

man flu is invented by women. We're not allowed to be ill without ridicule. When Mrs DavPaz falls ill, I am a caring nursemaid (without the uniform)

Pleurisy is horrible! I had that a few years back and it's scarred one of my lungs :( not nice

Go and get your jab...NOW!

Invented by us?! We don't give it you :p

Actually....I've never been with a guy that's had that and moaned about it-so I shall retract that comment

Arm. My doctor always manages to hit a nerve in my tricep and it ends up twitchy spasming as he jabs me. Plus the wonderful feeling that someone's given you a dead arm the next day.

Ah, I see.

Last time I had to have a jab was for the TB thing, I had the tester where there were about 15 (?) mini needles jabbed into your arm to test whether you could have the injection or whatever

Luckily I am one of the non-scarred kids because I am immune to TB altogether :)
Which is okay if Craster comes over....for some random reason *frowns in confusion* not that he would come over....anyway...

STILL NO SNOW!

I think it's meant to be proper snow but it'll turn to slush pretty quick in the morning. Fear not, I'm sure you'll be able to get to work.

We are On A Big Hill and tend to get longer lasting snow, so I'm hopeful. Plus it's my birthday tomorrow and I'm takign the day off and I'd like to be able to throw snowballs around.

We live near the sea and it always seems to stay a couple of degrees warner than it is a few miles inland. We rarely get decent snow :(

No snow due here.

Although there is snow down the road at "Lapland New Forest". Apologies for The Daily Facist link but they did have some good photos of this shithole. Looks like the Craggy Island fete:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1090931/Furious-parents-attack-Santa-elves-tempers-fray-Winter-blunderland-theme-park.html

Wonder where it is precisely. Their website is down and I'd rather like to cycle out there at the weekend to see what the fuss is (not paying 25 quid to get in, natch).
