"A little over a year ago the Triforum shareholders finally agreed on a project to invest their money in: a One Life Left compilation album.
We approached a number of recording artists, many of whom had been played on the show, to see they might be willing to contribute a videogame-themed track to the compilation.
The rules were simple: the track had to either be themed around videogames or to have some element to the music that was created on or by a videogame console. Unexpectedly, a number of the artists agreed to get involved and, soon enough, we had a whole record together with new material from the likes of Copy, Mark Denardo and Projekt A-Ko.
Our own Crotchy designed the artwork and Smiles worked out getting the 1000 discs manufactured. It's taken a while but at last we've managed to organise a launch event for the CD, details of which are on the flyer below.
The launch ties in with a live OLL show as well as, of course, the second Christmas Triversary so, in a neat twist, you have three reasons to be there on the night.
The record costs £6, the proceeds of which may go into creating a sequel. It'll be available one way or another on the Internet after the launch but, if you want to guarantee a copy, you better turn up on the night.
See you there!"
Best of all is that I'm on it of course.
