The ones that are really good for your posture?

They look remarkably like any other office chair. In any event, notwithstanding any fancy abilities it may have, I have never sat in an office chair in anything other than a slouch with my arse half off the front of it and my head halfway down the back.

You're going to make a chiropracter very rich in the future.

I sat in one this afternoon for a meeting, and now I plan to kit out the office with them.
Fuck me they're comfy.

They used to go cheap on ebay, during the dot-com bust period, as all the firms that had blown VC cash on them went to the wall and the stuff ended up getting sold on. I've never sat on one.

They're around £600 each. Not a terrible investment, as (I understand) they are likely to last ten years -- you'd probably break or wear out ten cheap Staples £50 chairs in that time.

Hmm...I'm a little worried because I have Chondromalacia Patellae so I don't think it'll do my knees any good, the doctor seems to think it will so I may give it a whirl

EDIT: After the post above I think not...600!?

There's a company online that sells them second hand, presumably obtained from bust dot coms.

I used to have one when I worked for (not ITV -Ed). My mate had procured it for an edit suite and then nabbed it for himself. I inherited when he went to work in the big building where people send obscene phonecalls to national treasures off Oxford Street.

When I setup Chinny Enterprises [tm], I wanted one for my office but alas they are to expensive. So I got a design knock-off version for about £150. Almost as good but not quite.

Aerons are worth it, no doubt at all. The build quality is just amazing. But they do cost.

I got new one off ebay a few years ago from some office that was closing down - best buy ever. Having said that, you need one with the lumbar support, don't bother getting one without it as you'll only end up buying it as an addon.
