I was going to choose that, or Alien Ant Farm's cover of Annie are you ok. But I thought it might be too "popular". But then I see it here, along with Madonna, and That awful cover of "The bridge" in one of the other groups. @)

It's ok, I get more than one vote. :)
But, I'm assuming Craster had the bannings lined up for the people that chose those songs, whereas you seem to have admitted that you nearly chose one of them yourself.

Man, this is like Wrongtown today.

Madonna's version of "American Pie" is infinitely better than the original C&W-esque dirge. TRUFAX.

Tainted Love is a terrible, terrible cover - trying to do some proto-scary goth industrial thing of a song that is a bit twisted anyway is just a waste of time. If you are going to pick a Manson cover, its "Sweet Dreams" all the way.

What he said. Except that Sweet Dreams is almost as awful.

:this: I fear.

What does it add? Nothing. Mr Manson should just write stand up comedy instead, or something.

I agree with Tainted Love being terrible but Sweet Dreams is almost as bad but that's probably got something to do with me hearing it over and over when I worked at Cash Converters. Budding local guitarists would come in, try a guitar out and invariably play either Sweet Child of Mine or Sweet Dreams. I think his Rock N Roll Nigger is a bit better but he really shouldn't do covers, they're usually awful.

Spiritualized's Daniel Johnston cover is nice enough, but it doesn't compare to the heart-wrenching original.
