So, in a normal competition it'd be Austria, Croatia, or Switzerland but it's Ireland night.

Looks like it's not a fake out :(

And somehow that was worse than last year.

This split between jury and public votes really adds the tension.

The zero for the UK followed immediately by the largest number of votes going to Israel was difficult to see.

Well, here’s a thing: the Armenian entry is singing in London tonight at a small and intimate location. My partner is Armenian and she’s just sent me a video of her daughter dancing on stage with the Eurovision lady.

So yeah. Beat that claim to fame, Beexers. Or don’t. Your choice.

Don’t be jealous just because you don’t know someone who knows someone who stood next to the 8th placed finalist of Eurovision 2024.

It certainly beats my claim of working with and hanging out with the 3rd place person in the competition to represent the UK about 17 years ago.

Actually my memory not so good here, it was 2002 and they got knocked out at the semifinal stage

It’s the Most Wonderful Night Of The Year tomorrow.

I miss Twitter for one thing only, and that’s Eurovision night.

Eurovision 2011 is lodged in my mind as a wonderful, wonderful night when I was having a rough time, buoyed along by Beex on Twitter.

For tomorrow we have ALL the snacks. It will be Bean’s second Eurovision marathon.

I miss smack talking the acts with everyone in social media. One of Elon’s worst crimes.

Just came back from town with my Eurobeer (brewed in the UK), Belgian chocolate, and fizz (for the scoring)!

Ready for the most important day of the year!

The dilemma:

Do I watch Doctor Who as the lead up, or do I stick to tradition and watch Father Ted?

Norway had a great start and a weak middle and end, and I loved Luxembourg. Reminded me of the doll from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang
