Oh right, I get you. I didn’t realise you could get printers that used more than one colour of filament at a time. Nice :)

I am having no joy whatsoever getting my printer to print anything. I'm wondering if the filament is just too old, as I bought it second hand. Maybe it degrades over time or something, but it's just not getting pushed out of the extruder/nozzle reliably.
Had to replace the bowden tube because the one that was on it when I got it had filament inside it and it wasn't possible to extrude it out or push it out manually without it breaking, so it got clogged up completely.

Fun times.

Filament takes in moisture, especially PETG. You can buy specific dryers, or even just leave it on a warm radiator for a bit

Here's my next print. A little box that turns bog roll into a tissue dispenser.

Quote:
Let’s get one thing straight: you’ve been lied to. Hoodwinked. Utterly bamboozled by Big Tissue™. They have convinced you that dainty, over-packaged, mark-up-laden “facial tissues” are the only way to gently pat your pweshus widdle nose. Do you know what those tissues really are? Toilet paper with delusions of grandeur.

That’s where this bourgeoisie-defying toilet paper tissue box comes in. The the tissue box of the revolution. The Revolutionaries' Tissue Box.

An under desk modular cable management system.

Not as neat as I want, but the desk motors are in the way.

There is a ton of options out there

Hours and Hours.. I did a lot of the mulitboard. Fitted the large one and printed the smaller ones to fit round.

Printed the starter underwear pack. Then printed bits as i needed them

I'll be honest, in the context of anything related to underwear, 'handsonkatie.com' is a link I'm going to check over my shoulder before clicking in the office.

Nice! It was only the other day when I remembered the Sonic rearview mirror ornament in Daytona… bet there’s one of those out there too.

Not to be “that guy” but did Daytona even have a cockpit view? Maybe you’re thinking of Rad Mobile.

Now, to be “that guy”, Rad Mobile was the first ever appearance of Sonic even pre-dating his own game.

You are so being that guy, guy. You’re right though… what game was I thinking of then? Never heard of that other one.

Must be Rad Racer, honestly can’t remember playing that though.

Daytona had four views if I remember rightly. Weren't there four coloured buttons to the left of the steering wheel corresponding to each view?

It’s more of a window-screen view than inside the cockpit.

You know what, you could have put a gun to my head and I would have sworn that you couldn't see any dials from that view. Amazing.

It's running in an emulator so it's in a window but, that's the four views on Daytona USA.

I’d say the camera is probably ‘above’ the window-screen so it can’t even be a cockpit view.

It is not, no. It's a Sega Model 2 emulator which I've had for many a year. It plays Daytona, Sega Rally, Virtua Fighter 2 and pretty much all the M2 library.. hence the name.

I mainly use it with my Sidewinder steering wheel to play Sega Rally and it's great.

It's not massive so if you want it and all the Roms, let me know and I'll send them over.
